Just got back from the circuit.I`ve watched an original Vanwall racecar drift around the esses and the hairpin today and if that wasn`t enough there was also a Ford GT40 lapping the circuit and scaring people with the scream of the motor full chat thru Devils Elbow.MY EARS HURT!!!!!!

cool, was it the old gt40 or the new ford gt, and did you get your hands on that sob in the end for the trike.

It was the old `un mate, which made it that much sweeter

.Trike-being dealt with,won`t go into details,obviously.

Vanwall.. another British marque that died

eh well.. the old cars sound beautiful, I can only imagine Drill
<
Vanwall engines were designed by the same bloke who designed for Norton too I think

The old GT40 too, I'm in love with that car. The new one is pretty pants and just can't capture the spirit of the old one. The new one didn't win Le Mans 4 times!! Oh and them gulf colours:

it is a sweet car, was a pile of ..... at the beginning tho, took a couple of years to get it to handle ,then the rest is history. ford only built it because there ferrari buy out fell through because of fiat backing.
noal edmunds owns a gt43 (rocking horse .... )

Almost forgot to mention the Aston Martin Lagonda coupe (I think) going around too, wasn`t sure of the year but it was similar to the E-type Jag.The guy driving must have been a serious racer as he was throwing it around like his life depended on it,it was an exhilerating sight.
