Wow Lorenzo is very lucky to have walked away from that huge high side uninjured... Definitely the strangest race of the year. Michale Pirro finished 5th place... Aleix Espargaro lead the first few laps.

Lets all take a minute of silence to reflect on how Nakasuga just did better than Ben Spies has done all year....

Biggest joke of a race ive ever seen. Wet/Dry conditions are by FAR more dangerous than just plain wet races. Should have been red flagged.

Very crazy race.....

Pedrosa put in a masterful patient ride.

Nakasuga for 2nd....good on him.

Stoner, farewell and thanks for the memories.

Lorenzo and Crutchlow...damn, both lucky to get up and walk away.

...Nicky..wtf? Speed's ...... coverage didn't show his crash except in hightlight, I'm guessing he got off line and threw it down the road.

Great perfromance by nakasuga, kept his head. and his post race joy was something to behold.

Agree about the danger, pedrosa also had the odd moment in his great ride, but they could have ended with a severely injured world champion among other things, and the CRT bikes unfortunately added to the danger as has been said. Ellison did nothing really wrong, but this is twice where probably the standard of some of the CRT riders, the likes of whom jorge and dani are not accustomed to passing, has led to a race ending crash, particularly unfortunate in this instance where the rider was being lapped.

crazy race.

awesome performance by pedrosa (lapped everybody up to dovi right?holy...) and nakasuga.

glad to see stoner on the podium one last time

how about that valentino rossi guy?

Another go-kart track - perfect for moto3.

Can Moto GP get any suckier.

And another triumph of race management.

It's no wonder Casey is movin on.

How much longer will Honda put up with Dorna's BS?

What a race, the guys who started on slicks were brave men, those who went into the pits and started on slicks after all were brave too and I was sure they couldn't do well from the back of the field like that, shows what little I know then.

Excellent rides by Crutchlow until he lost it (that was nasty crash) and Pedrosa of course to get the win. Lorenzo's off was pretty huge too, they were both lucky to walk away from that. Casey Stoner didn't look happy out there at all but near the end he couldn't help going for the podium could he? Was nice to see him on there in the end I have to say.

Ellison may not have won like Willski and Arrab suggested in the other thread

but he made a good showing of himself, he even finished ninth and that was a good result for him I thought. Nakasuga did so well too, he was right to be so emotional at the end, hell of a ride by him in difficult conditions.

weird race. Thank god the championship was decided before this, and not because lorenzo would have lost.

bring on the test i cant wait

interesting stat i just heard.... if nakasuga didnt get that podium it would have been the first season since 1985 that a japanese rider didn't finish on the podium in all the classes
