"Honestly I'm happy with this final result with Yamaha, because we had a difficult weekend here. I didn't get a good start but I realised straight away that I was much faster today and that my bike felt good. At one point I thought I might be able to win but in the later part of the race I just didn't have enough strength to stay with Lorenzo and Stoner, this is a very hard track when you're not completely fit. I started to make a few mistakes because I didn't have enough power to stop the bike so after a bit I decided it was better to slow down and keep my third place.
What are you implying Mr. Slave? Rossi never complains or blames something else for not wining. Only Stoner does that.
hey..how come no one went up in arms about lorenzo's hard pass attempt on simonchelli? =)
theres a dif between admition and and wining

As we wrote yesterday in our Moto2 round-up story, the Moto2 silly season is in full swing, with so many rides up in the air and so many riders still chasing seats. One of the biggest logjams has been Kenan Sofuoglu, the 2010 World Supersport champion having been in demand with a large number of teams, especially after his astonishing debut at the rain-soaked round at Estoril last weekend.
But on Saturday, that logjam cleared, when it emerged that Kenan Sofuoglu had agreed to ride for the Technomag CIP team for the 2011 season. The signing came as something as a surprise, as Sofuoglu came close to signing a deal with the Gresini Moto2 squad to replace departing Moto2 champion Toni Elias, but the deal was called off at the last moment after Gresini came up with a list of additional demands. Sofuoglu's preference had been to ride a Moriwaki, which is why the Turk was talking to Gresini, but an intervention from Suter chassis maker Eskil Suter helped change Sofuoglu's mind. In the end, Sofuoglu elected to stay with the Technomag squad, who have welcomed him in as replacement to Shoya Tomizawa, who was tragically killed at Misano. The announcement was met with a round of applause in the Technomag garage as Sofuoglu entered this morning.
With Sofuoglu signed, a flurry of deals is now likely to be done. Gresini have been talking to Sofuoglu's former WSS teammate Michele Pirro, and are reportedly in talks with former MotoGP rider Mika Kallio. Meanwhile, Yuki Takahashi is looking like the favorite for the second Jack&Jones ride alongside Kenny Noyes, after having been the most likely candidate to take the Technomag ride if Sofuoglu had gone to Gresini. Sunday night - the night before the first Moto2 test of the 2011 season - will be a very busy night for the Moto2 teams, as they try and nail down deals with the available riders.
Wonder what the additional demands were

THIS year... yes indeed making him the best rider EVER to grace the Moto GP paddock.

Who said he was the best rider ever, i dont recall anyone saying that. He kicked everyone's ... THIS year, regardless of their excuses, and had the most points ever scored in the series. If it were Rossi who had pulled this off, they would be building temples and shrines. The argument that until Lorenzo wins 7 titles and so many races, he cant be considered is so weak. Using that logic, Lorenzo could win 13-14 races a year for the next 3 years, win 3 more championships, get punted off the track , suffer a career ending injury , then not be considered as the most dominant rider ever because he didnt match Rossi'd title or win total. Its silly. Lorenzo's championship stands up to any of them, especially when you consider the level of competition. Since 2006, Rossi has won 26 Races. The five years before that, Rossi won 51 races. Its no coincidence that since Pedro, Stoner, and Lorenzo hit the scene, Rossi's winning percentage has fallen close to 50%.. Rossi's main competition before the 3 aliens showed, were Biaggi, Gibernau, and Capirossi. Compare their careers with Stoner, Lorenzo, and Pedro
Biaggi= 13 wins in 8 season
Gibernau= 9 wins in 11 seasons
Capirossi= 14 wins in 11 season
Flash forward to today
Stoner=23 in 5 seasons
Pedro= 12 in 5 seasons
Lorenzo= 14 in 3 seasons.
Thats 49 wins in a combined 13 seasons, compared to 36 wins in a combined 30 seasons. I expect those number to skyrocket over the next 5 years and triple that 36 total in comparable number of seasons since all of these kids are in their prime. Maybe more.
Who is disagreeing with this? But you show your hatred and bias when you choose words like "excuses" rather than "reasons", this is why very few here take you seriously !
In that case, Nicky Hayden was the best. He just suffered from technical problems.BTW, what riders are not riding hurt? The difference is some are just not broadcasting depending on their results.
Um ..... cos Rossi wasn't involved
So you guys had nothng to chuc a spatty over ...... its pretty obvious
Rossi arrived 3rd in the championship after all his problems. Pretty decent. uh?
