jusat saying how well he is going on this bike, yet everyone says they love the 990's. but you can see the 800s when ridden right is just as fast.

and the fact that valencia is eminently more suited to an 800 than a 990, with it being an overgrown go-kart track, has nothing to do with it?
yes he is riding fast but a 990 would get to the first turn, block the 800s faster cornering lines and then leave the 800 behind up the next straight bit of track.... the 800 would have to be way out in front or .5s behind the 990 to keep pace...
to say he would have won races and even a WC is just plain silly....

they just have more corner speed which compensates for their lack of top end speed.

i prefer the 990 because they where faster and unforgiving.

So I take it here no-one noticed Casey barely improved in FP2? As opposed to everyone else taking leaps and bounds?

It's his style, he starts the weekend close to his limit, and does minuscule improvements, works though.

In other words, just like Edwards, just a couple of seconds faster

its all hypothetical. he would of been right up there based on times no doubt he would.

and last year proved winning only 2 races and being consistant, average 15 points per race would of won you the WC... need not even win races in 2006. coming 4th in every race would of won you the WC in 2006.

stoner is nearly done race pace lap record on first day and on a 800cc....

damm thats amazing, i would say stoner would of won a few races on this 800 last year, considering hayden only won 2 races last year, maybe with the form he is riding this year he could of even won the 06 WC even with an 800 spec bike

good one Pinky, and also as Son of Doohan said “business as usual for stoner”, fully agree, he uses fp’s and qp for what it should be, ok he likes poll but it aint the be all end all like the others think! and especially pedrobot! who works his arse off to get poll then stuffs it up in the race! maybe the same will happen at Saturdays qp.

Well he's in a bad place if he doesn't get at least a point in the Championship .... If Pedrosa wins .... Needs to go back out really ..

Whats wrong with Stoner??

Stoner needs to man up and rossi needs to harden the fu.c up and get back out
