Business as usual for Stoner, about 8/10ths ahead. Looks like my prediction is gonna be right.

It looks like Barros wants to go out on career ending high or Win and take 9th place off Nicky as well!!

If take Stoner's time out of the equation then you have pretty close result...even as far back as RDP.

Come on Casey - <span style="color:#FF0000Make it 11 in '007!!!

Chaz Davies has been taken to a Valencian hospital after suffering a massive highside in FP1.. He has no broken bones but was complaining of pain in his lower back..

Stoner is as impressive as ever. Discounting Guintoli (qualifying tyre, or Rossi should better change to Dunlop...
<
) we can see that Michelin only have Pedrosa in front, the rest is a small army of Bridgestones down to Barros in 7th, just ahead of Rossi and Hayden.

Only Pedrosa and Melandri seem capable to ride with Casey, so far. The others are too far. Let's see tomorrow...

Stoner on the gas again!! i noticed Stoner's bike had ''Made in Italy''livery.
Vermeulen 5th in both sessions.

Theres not alot in it, not as much as i've seen at some other races at this point of the weekend.

I predict a close race.

So I take it here no-one noticed Casey barely improved in FP2? As opposed to everyone else taking leaps and bounds?

It's his style, he starts the weekend close to his limit, and does minuscule improvements, works though.

C'mon Dani and Randy!

CV is doing consistently well. Stoner is going to destroy the field and the race seems to be all in his control. Rossi and Hayden are back but Hayden typically is not in the front group until late in the 3rd session anyway.

Good race coming. Stoner won't be challenged by anyone.

Somehow I feel that statement creates a contradiction
<

Apparently Stoner's time is set on a race tire (bridgestone) and the others on qualifying tires..
<

Erm, Guinters set his time on a Quali.

Everyone else only ever uses Q tyres on Saturday.

Yeah, standard Stoner to start almost at his full speed. He still looks strong though.

stoner is nearly done race pace lap record on first day and on a 800cc....

damm thats amazing, i would say stoner would of won a few races on this 800 last year, considering hayden only won 2 races last year, maybe with the form he is riding this year he could of even won the 06 WC even with an 800 spec bike
