Actually Jumkie boy is a Nicky Hayden 'The Kentucky Squid' worshipper. He only likes Stoner because he seems so far to be the only one who can really take it to Rossi. And yes, Jumkie is a big time Rossi hater even though he claims he's not and put the blame on the Rossi Boppers such as yourself for the hatred.

What makes this so fun is that Stoner is about as my fav as Rossi (both admired but recognize their human). It’s the boppers' positions that I have challenged. Ah but those Rossi colored glasses have kept you from seeing the difference. Opinions, yes, not saying mine is worth more than yours, I'm just pointing out the double standard for which you and your kind have formulated them (again, you miss the difference).

Bully? Ah, you and the boppers haven't said anything to bully the fans of those who managed to beat your boy have you??? Look in the mirror clown. If you don't like what I'm saying then debate it logically.

1. Is Rossi whining? That is a yes or no question. (Try to answer it based on YOUR standard of whining. I’m sure you still remember what you consider whining and crying right. Just look at your avatar buddy for a clue.
2. Did Rossi win on the merits of: good consistency, smart strategy, superior machinery (your standard), fortune, attrition, etc.? Did not the previous two champs do the same? So why does it seem so bad for your boy to do it the same way? It’s not a dig clown; it’s simply recognition of how it was accomplished. You guys have made it into a negative; what otherwise before 06 was simply the way it was always done. You (and the boppers) did this when you wanted to “rationalize” how it could be possible for Rossi to lose a title.

Chickmoose, I don’t think I’ve had pleasure of too many exchanges with you. Yes, I’m a bit abrasive (at least toward the boppers), but it makes me laugh to see you guys get wound up when I shoot back while I’m sure you’ve had your digs (don’t go saying your not part of the fun and games, again reference your avi for clues). So why get butt hurt? You can throw rocks, but when you get them lobbed back, now you’re gonna get pissed? I suppose my “opinion” on Rossi’s latest whining was too much for you to bare, or perhaps me saying he wasn’t the fastest guy. Well news flash, I said that because I remember the boppers saying the same thing before, so I thought I’d throw it in your face. So let me get this straight. In 06 the guy with the most points (as you now are so interested in numbers) was NOT the fastest guy but now the guy with the most points is? What changed in your logic?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Jumkie @ Nov 10 2009, 02:47 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>In 06 the guy with the most points (as you now are so interested in numbers) was NOT the fastest guy but now the guy with the most points is? What changed in your logic?
You're overanalyzing, Jum. In 2006 Rossi finished second in points but was generally the fastest rider, thus the points were irrelevant. In 2009, Rossi finished first in points but was not the general consensus fastest rider, thus the points are the only relevant aspect. It doesn't matter what Nicky Hayden or Casey Stoner or Jorge Lorenzo did, what matters is Valentino Rossi took part in the races. And whether or not he accumulated the most points or was fastest throughout the season or won the most races is irrelevant. Because Rossi has won nine world championships, that's a 125cc world championship, a 250cc world championship, a 500cc world championship, four 990cc MotoGP world championships and two 800cc MotoGP world championships. So the next time you want to think that another rider deserves any sort of accolade, you might want to remember how illustrious Rossi's career has been. And it's not even over yet!

Get a clue, Jum

Talpa... get a clue and stop being so naieve, Austin and Jumkie are on the same team. What Austin said does have some truth to it, but for the most part he was being sarcastic. You've got to know who's on what team man !!!

But yeah, Jumkie lost badly this round.

I really hope that was a form of sarcasm. If not, your ability to analyze and reason logically is suspect.

Man Jumks, your post was so fine except for this last bit, seems that you woke up only in the last races: "consistency, smart strategy, health, fortune,"… Most Poles, Most Podiums, and most against your arguments Most Fastest Laps too, all around 2009.

I guess it is also important to say that Rossi won the Championship! He may have loosened up at the end, but only took care of Lorenzo who was the one that mattered then.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Jumkie @ Nov 10 2009, 11:22 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>and attrition from others, etc[Edit: forgot to add: superior machine]. No shame in those elements (though you couldn't convince the boppers). Sadly he has managed to overshadow another title with an extremely ungracious demand that they get rid of his rival Lorenzo. Talk about whining. (Though I'm sure the boppers will take his lead and argue that he's only doing it because he has been the sole developer; it appears the test riders, tire techs, crew chief & mechanics, plus the sea of engineers all sit around with their thumbs up their ..... since he takes all the credit). Perhaps somebody may need to explain his a <span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%<u>mere employee</u> and one of many participants in an open competition. Looks like the Bridgestone threats all over again. I just hope this time the series does not cave to his childish and unbecoming public tirade. Great rider flawed character. Nothing new really, everybody is human, but only Rossi gets a pass for such a public display of insolent ungraciousness. The man won <span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%<u>a</u> title, giver your mouth a rest.

A 'mere employee' that has won 9 Championships, wow, now that is silly compa!

Take it as you may, they are numbers, which most of the time give a good intake. Adding all of the statistics up is what may resemble closer truth. Still are statistics though!

Added Note: And please Mastodon, read the whole post before picking a single table to slash at it. Still bothers man, no harm intended or taken!

I got the idea Mick from the posts I've been reading lately. So many people on here are doubting what Spies might be capable of achieving next year, and only chose to compliment him when he did good this weekend. Give him the benefit of the fukin doubt for effs sake.

No I'm not too egocentric, but I know I've been smelling alot of doubt in the air.

Sure he is, just that most of us grew up and left the playground many years ago.

I've noticed that there are a few that claims some other rider were faster this year.
They have a hard time convincing anyone as long as Rossi took a dominating championship victory by closing that fight before the last race. He took the BMW award for the fastest qualifier and he got the most win this year by a margin. What more is there to say?
EDIT: I forgot to mention, together with the above:
most second places,
most fastest lap in race
most pole positions
Edit 2: I knew there were something missing:
most laps in first place pos.

He is a bit down on the number of 3rd places though

By every measurable parameter he were the fastest rider this year.
Ah, we have of course the single lap rider. The one who think he win points by being fastest on practice and warm up laps.
What are yo going to do J. Show how many Friday practices Stoner "won"?

And regarding the 2006 accident, the worst title defender since 2k, the hillbilly... let him rest in peace, the comparison is just too embarrassing. We are not dragging points into this J., just huge piles of them, and that is just to substantiate all the rest of the parameters. I'm sure the rest can see the difference.
