THIS IS THE BEST QP EVER!!! Woohoo!!!
<

Of course, Rossi on pole, but kudos to Troy for a fantastic ride. Even though I was only tuning in to live timing, I was still at the edge of my seat!!!

Can't wait for tomorrow!

Sure was great qualifying. Bummer for Hayden but superb from Rossi, Bayliss and Capirossi. So close to seeing a 1.30 lap!!!

Going to be one hell of a race. Looking good for Rossi now with the ducatis in place.

5th place not bad for Nicky but he has the race pace which is good, he has to get past the ducati's quickly and hopefully Pedrosa will follow but it doesnt seem he is on it at the moment

Well Rossi has laid down the gauntlet.

Hats of to Troy!!!

Cannot wait till tomorrow.

troy surprised me - hayden has made an arse of it and rossi has well and truly put his cards on the table

i can't wait !

It's going tp be sooooooo difficult now for Nicky, he needed to have pole.... but well we all know whose game is it......It's Vale's game!

Not really Nicky seems to have the pace, Nicky needs to dispose of the ducati's quickly otherwise Rossi will leave him behind, but you never know the Ducati's may get a good start and overtake rossi at the first corner

Nicky may have a good pace, but Rossi's was better so think about it, he needs to get passed the Ducati monsters and Mr Bayliss who is riding just excellent, and I dont think Mr pedrosa will be much help now.

The difference between the times Rossi and Hayden have put up in FPs and QP is so miniscule that it´s irrelevant to tomorrow´s race. The front group will consist of Rossi, Cappers, Bayliss, Hayden and Stoner. Pedrosa might get in there and aid Hayden but he looks a bit slower. It will be a real corker.

Middle of the second row for Hayden isn't bad- it would have been made better if Rossi had had one of his poor qualifying sessions. But, somehow I doubted he would. It's on.

I'm really excited ofr tomorrow!

I like the way you sounded optimistic. But for sure things aren't looking that bright for Hayden. Knowing Rossi is on pole tomorrow, if everything goes well for him (no technical fault), he'll blast all the way to the moon.
I believe Dani will do the best he can to help Hayden.

It will be an interesting race for sure. I felt very tense sitting in the stands, weird vibes once the 125s left the track. I was really hoping Nicky could take pole and get Baylisstic right behind him and do a SBK breakaway but it wasn´t in the cards. I´m not concerned by fifth for Hayden, he´ll still be up front tomorrow.

I´m most excited about Bayliss taking second, I´d love to see him stuff everyone and run away. He´s really a class guy, I keep expecting to run into him at the pubs around here...

My bet is bayliss will lead into turn one. Risk for Hayden and Pedrosa is getting swamped by all the talented riders behind who are there to prove a point and enjoy one hell of a last race of the season/era.

Richo............I take back that comment about Bayliss being at the front of the que home - whats a result for Troy!!!

What a qual session, as excitng as the race!!! (well, maybe not that exciting) haha

Rossi is in prime position, I feel the Dukes are gonna be mixing it up alot - Hayden has work to do tomorrow, Pedrosa has more work to help support him - he seemed way of the pace till the last couple of flyers.

Wheres Colin!!!.........he aint gonna be much help as Estoril!!!

Rooooooooooooooooooool onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Sundaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy

The most anticipated race EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he's secured his job for next year so he's going back into his normal mode along with TE.

really impressive stuff from bayliss. it's a shame he's not still in gps! so entertaining to watch! ben i think the site might reach meltdown tommorro!

Hayden is not only on the pace but somthing went wrong on his last section of his last Q-lap and he lost no less than 4 tenths off compared to his previous fastest lap in that section. He had the pace to be there on the first row.

But unless Rossi are taken out I can't see how he can win the championship. He can not do it by himself. Even if he win he need someone between him and Rossi. First of all I find him the least likely to win among the top 6, secondly who even dare to take the spot between him and rossi? Over the years we've seen rossi willing to take risks when he think it is worth it, and so far they have payed off, and those in they way of his goal has lost.
My guess is that more guys out there are going to think like Roberts did last race and that might be Rossi's best waraty for the title. That said, I don't think he need that, he will be well in front of Hayden as he cross the finsh line tomo... today.

I would be willing to bet Bayliss wouldn´t mind being the meat in a Hayden and Rossi sandwich. He´s got his own scores to settle.
