shoulda been red flagged...

but, I was right about Hayes! 7th (11th if you assume the 4 crashers finished ahead).

Good for Dovi too! Too bad him and Pedro didn't fight like that the rest of the season.

Ohh...how Stoner stole this win?! Maaan, Spies should have won that after what he had done in the last laps. Anyhow...it was an eventful final race, at least compared to the average of the 800s. I really hope that the new 1000 from Yamaha will be better as the Honda otherwise no chance against Stoner next year.

After watching the replays, I blame Alvaro. Came in too hot.

Agree. First thought I had.

Hayes did very well. Beat GP regulars. The AMA continues to be underrated.

Damned right. First time on a GP bike and at 36 years of age.

Bet he can hardly believe it himself.

Nah, all the carnage ended up off the track, all riders up on their feet so no more than a yellow needed.

Nice to see you tho bud, i thought we were going to see your sorry ... in vegas ?

Well I think Stoner learned not to give Ben an inch today ......... he took several miles and very nearly got it.

Next year we may see Ben be the main Yamaha?

For sure an error by Bautista. I hope Haydens not injured.

Apparently Nicky's having xrays on that hand, I hope nothings broken.

It sucks. I can't help but think given the conditions that we could have seen a Ducati on podium if not win. Alvaro came in too hot, destroyed any chance of that happening. He robbed us of surely a Ducati battle, as if Karel is any indication, the Ducatis were in for a great race. For all the 'ata boys' Alvaro has received this year, I think he's screwed up more often than not. He;s the sentimental favorite because he's riding the lone Suzuki, but we really don't have any gage as to how a teammate would be doing. Dude is a DNF machine. But I'm not gonna hold it against him, as he manned up and went over to apologize like a man. So his riding is a bit questionable in my opinion, but his character is in tact.

At least it was the last race of the season...but I'm sure he wants to be there to test the 1000cc this week...lets hope it's not too bad.

You may like the 800s barry, many others don't.

No-one is saying you have to hate them, but others are also entitled to their opinions. They have always been too liable to crashing when ridden at all close to the edge for my liking, and today's first corner incident, with thankfully little or no injury to the riders concerned, confirmed my view the things are cursed.

Btw, I'll be unpopular with my Brit friends for saying this, but Crutchlow battling Karel for rookie of the year, on what was a vastly superior bike doesn't quite impress me. He got Rookie of the Year on points, so congrats, but in performance, a bit empty for me. But Dovi will be a real good indicator of what that Tech3 can produce. If Cal doesn't drastically improve, he will see an exit at the end of his contract. Sorry Brit buddies, but I think you have better racers in Haslam, Rae, and perhaps Bradley (though he hasn't won a M2 race).
