Wouldn't have minded ben spies winning that race, it would have been well deserved.



Maybe stoner read the posts on crashnet about him not being able to race/fight back when passed. He may have thought all along that he could get ben on that last stretch, and have decided not to lead/set the pace for the last few laps and risk going down, but I don't believe he deliberately cut it that fine, and he nearly put the bike down just before ben passed him.



Stoner has obviously been the best rider over the full course of the formula and could do nothing other than ride the bikes he was given, but even as a stoner fan I am not sorry to see these things over with, particularly after the first lap incident. I wouldn't take one home without having it exorcised first jumkie.

i think ben was too afraid that stoner would catch him, going at that speed lifting your head out of the fairing to look back unnecessarily takes away that crucial little bit of drive
