It's way expensive to get a cable package with SpeedTV, So i may just end up watching the races at Iggy's Sports Grill, or I might sign up for the Online MotoGP package. Has anyone signed up for this in the past? Would it be recommended?
I had an account in 2005 and 2006. Stateside, it really can't be beat. No one broadcasts free practices and I think I've only ever seen one qualification session and that was Laguna last year or the year before. To be able to see every FP and every QP for 125, 250 and MotoGP is pretty great. Their commentators are fantastic, it's the feed that SPEED uses so that's why SPEED gets decent reviews about the commentating. Additionally, there are loads of videos and rider interviews to check out between race weekends and throughout the year.
Occasionally I had difficulties with the stream or connection. This was most frequent while I was living in the dorms in the UK where content was monitored over the network and downloads were prohibited. I don't think I've ever had an issue while at home. Like Sack said, they display the podium finishers on the home page shortly after the race so if you're trying to watch the race on a delay without seeing the results, it's difficult/annoying.
Overall I think it's a pretty good value, $50 for the season or whatever it is now. I just generally don't have the time to take advantage of all the content and live sessions so I can't justify paying $50 just so I can watch the race live.
