It's gonna be fun watching Mr Kanazawa's (HRC CEO) face when Rossi wins the race and wraps up the title in Motegi (a property of Honda).

Although the new Honda will be used there, the rumours say the didn't want to bring it to Brno because Brno is not a power circuit and it would have been an embarrasment that the new Honda was beaten as easily as the old one.
Motegi suits more the new bike, although if Rossi wins again there, it will be a bigger emabarrasment.

At least Dani will save the day for Honda in Motegi, I'm really eager to see lil' Dani on the big fat RCV, it's gonna be fun to watch how he adapts to that beast.
This season is pretty dead, bring on 2006 !!!

Rossi didn't score a single point in his first 3 races in the top category (2000), I'm sure Dani will do better than that. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he finished top 5 in his first race.

GO DANI !!!

Bring on 2006 mind you I still wouldn't call 2006 dead yet still gonna be some fireworks between Sete and Rossi best time of the year is yet to come

Cheers

That was a good race. The lead changes were awesome. Once again Hopkins showed his talent only to be outpowered by the better bikes. Totally unfortunate turn of events for Sete he really did deserve that second place.

On to Motegi to see John show his talent unless he gets taken out on turn one again!!

Actually he was beaten by his teammate Roberts, so it really wasn't one of Hopper's best races.

Marbles, let's wait and see.

Pedrosa ,as been said before,is really gonna have to bulk up his body to race MGP.Even with the proposed V3 which will be garunteed to match the V5 power when it appears,no-I`m afraid the boy is going to struggle to hang on to get a top 10 place in the race though qualifying will be a different story maybe.

i think dani boy will do just fine. 1st season will be a learning year, then the 800s in 07. i think he'll start shinning in 07. as long as he does'nt cave under all the pressure the spanish press will put him under!

Great race. poor sete. i really felt sorry for the guy. at least he kept rossi honest, i think rossi really had to fight and think about that one, "a 'ard race" you could tell it was hard for him because he was overjoyed with the win.

good to see capirossi on the box, and max? did someone forget to tell him when the race started?

What happened to hopper? bridgestones + aggressive riding style = no tyre. not good. he started well but faded early... wonder what happened at the beginning?

Same for nicky i think. i wish he could find a tyre that suits his style, he'd kick ... then.

exactly my thoughts ron, if nicky could get a tire that fit his style he would be in the front every race.(for more than the first half) i loved watching him race here in the states, very agressive and very FAST.

the tyre he looking for is not ere yet, dont u fink it better not to slide so much?
possible more race wins then... not having a dig hes a mean dude who shud b winning more....

yes he would most likely do better without as much tire wear. but nicky was raised in the states and i know that he has been racing dirt flat track for a lot of his life. and started early on. i guess its just second nature for him to slide it a little.

startin to sound like a certain 26yr old italian mate...

"ees possible make a great battle"

Nicky will be very strong soon, I'm not sure what it is that holds Nicky back. Thoughout FP all weekend it was reported that Nicky had the second fastest race pace only behind Gibernau and then come race day he falls behind early and then on Monday and Tuesday testing he had the fastest race pace and the fastest lap on race tires, shattering Rossi's race lap record by over a second. He claims he has found a good setting on the bike and the latest rubbers from Michelin are "superb". Perhaps this is the setting he has been searching for since he arrived in MotoGP? Too bad he will have to cool down for 3 weeks before Motegi after such a positive test.

How about this for a thought.

Always when there is testing after the GP everyone seems to go faster and get a better setup on there bikes, and more riders get things sorted, why don't they have these test sessions before the race, so we can get some better closer racing.
