Hi guys

For those of you who use twitter Uccio is asking people what they twould like Vale to do to best honour Marco's memory in Valencia.

If any of you don't use twitter and want to make a suggestion, I am happy to relay it.
 
Anything reminding us of Super Sic will be fine, from riding with his number to wearing a Sic Afro hair colored Helmut, or even riding Marco's bike for Valencia if Ducati, motogp, Honda, Honda Geresini and others allow him and of cource if they do race.



I think in Valencia only 125 and moto2 will race because their championship isn't finished yet, and the motogp will be a nice ceremony for Marco.

I think a helmet with graphics of simo's afro would be ok...or perhaps even wear something that mimics Simoncelli's leathers.
 
It would be great if every guy on the grid would be wearing a big Simo afro wig when preparing the bikes for start.

Riders change teams styles etc over the years most stick to there race number for me 58 being ridden would be a great honor to Marco

OR, in reference to the +0 number Marcos back hump (was it his points lead??), Rossi should ride with +58 on his

At this very moment I have tears welling up but that is a very fitting tribute,well thought friend.
 
wigs and #58 on the bikes,i'd love it and i'm sure so would marco! he was the funny guy in this serious sport, and it would only be fitting to remember marco with a smile



also ,if either rossi or aoyama would win that race........
 
I agree with the wigs and number, plus #58 at the top of the leaderboard at all time. Maybe even give the win to Simo in respect, like Tomizawa got that trophy last season
 
What about bikes with bare carbon fairings apart (or standard manufacturer colours - blue for yamaha, red for ducati etc etc) from 'We'll miss you Sic' in big, white and red letters?
 
On another forum it was suggested that if you own a motorcycle, at 3 PM central europe time, fire up the engine in respect to Marco. Gilera/Aprilia and Hondas work best!



I think the +O is a blood type.
 
Geez, I really can't think of anything, I'm not that creative. But certainly it should be something light hearted, as I think its in keeping with Sic's character. Perhaps the wigs, perhaps running the number as people have suggested. I don't know, I'm sure somebody will have an excellent suggestion and it will be appropriate once we see it. Though I hope its not too over the top either.
 
Given that Marco's dad Paolo and Pernat yesterday were mentioning the possibility of setting up a charitable foundation in Marco's name, my suggestion was in fact a Sic Afro helmet which could then be auctioned off to raise funds.

However I think Vale will in his heart know how to best honour his friend.
 
I love the wig idea like drill that brought a tear to my eye. For anyone else it would seem flippant and disrespectful but perfect for Marco!
 
I vote before the start of the race, everyone wear the afro wig, with mirrored glasses with the peace sign (smile+tears optional), than don helmets painted in Marco's theme for the race. All helmets than would be auctioned off towards a fav charity of the Simocellis.
 
Love the idea from Uchio and Vale great gesture guys well done.

Wig pre race does it for me, from everyone though, pit crews, riders etc.



im trying to get Sic stickers to put on my vehicles.



I will personally make it a celebration of his achievements rather than a sorrowful event but will be very moving during the minutes silence.
 
What is the story of +0 on Marco's leader? i had never seen it before, i mostly dont pay attention to these things.



I hope they make Valencia a circus with a lot of donoughts, wheelies and jokes so that everybody forget all the sadness and pain of losing Super Sic.
 
If they could i think vale riding Marcos bike to victory... so no matter what happens in the race Marcos bike comes 1st and everyone else battling for 2nd & 3rd. i know this wont happen, but i think it would be nice.



since i doubt my 1st choice wont happen... i think every rider should have the number 58 plate, that way who ever wins the race the number 58 will be on the top step.
 
I'm going to Valencia and open to suggestions.

If I had more time I'd do a banner and get PS members to send their memorandums and have them put on by numerous friends around me so the handwriting was not the same and the PS Logo but their aint the time.



Anyone got any ideas?
