Greetings all!

I believe I may have been conceived at a club race meeting somewhere in the eastern USA in the first few months of 1973 haha.

My father and uncle (father dragged mom to events) raced Yamaha RD's and RZ's  on the east coast and in Texas in the 70's and 80's.   Two stroke smoke smell is one of my earliest memories.  I was a avid fan until the mid 90's and then came back around the beginning of Motogp era.  I've since kind of got side tracked with F1 for a bit, but thankfully just watched the Qatar race and whoa baby I'm back.  I can be an old school nostalgia reminiscer too much at times, but bring on the current Motogp action I realized I was missing it!

So thankful that I got to go to Laguna Seca for 1991 GP and see Schwantz and Rainey and all my heroes in person.  Believe it or not have not been there for Motogp yet!

Welcome Nadeem :)

I was an F1 fan who switched to motogp in the latter part of last year and it's much better racing!!  Enjoy the forum!!

Greetings Nads,

Being a 2 stroke nostalgia buff wont make you some king of freak here, the place is littered with them, me included. You may be in the right place.

Everyone loves the racing but the banter can get deadly, hilarious and sanity is not a prerequisite.

Cheers

Two strokes!!! and it's in the blood?? Jeez! De-stress, less salt more warfarin!

Warfarin?

I expected something concerning an inference that that Sir might need something to keep 'the wolf from the door', so to speak.

Ahem.
