It is now official, Troy will partner Ruben Xaus in the BMW Motorrad WSBK Dream Team

He has signed a two years contract.

Good move, Corser's ridden pretty much every bike there is to ride and should be able to put a lot of good development input into the Beemer.

+1

the only bike he couldnt get competitive was the FP1. he is a very good development rider IMO.

I agree signing corser is a smart move, he will develop the bike and be competitive although I fear his championship days may be gone; he has been mixing it with the racers this season more than has been his wont in recent previous seasons though.

I presume BMW have only just signed him; I personally would have gone for a younger hard charger than xaus if corser was a certainty for BMW earlier in proceedings.

Yeah, BMW should have signed Corser earlier...to develop the bike. He has two WSBK Championships already..I'm not sure about Xaus.

But that had a cc handicap compared to the rest of the field due to a last minute change in rules (900 compared to 1000).

As we speak, who is in second in the points? Also in a season full of great racing?
