A friend picked one up a few months ago. I haven't talked to him since, only that my dad said the comment made by him is "best bike he's ever owned". That means something since he has owned more bikes than I've owned socks.
Well, I won't be getting it for a while because the world wide demand is ridiculous but that gives me a few months to save some more bikkies.
I'm getting that actual green because it looks fantastic - the only other options are white or black.
I'm gonna get one of these pipes on it as well -
I dig the looks, but man, the sound is very electric-motor-ish. I'd want to hear one in person. I don't know if you get two-brothers over there. IMO they usually sound the best. Just wished they looked better.

NICE
I had a trumpet before I bought my Prilia.
same colour as that actually - Roulette Green I think they called it ?
Had it for 4 years - never missed a beat. not once.
My only complaint - dealer servicing costs are MENTAL

You may think so, but I think anything with 4 wheels comes a distinct last to anything with 2 wheels except for Harley's. They suck equally as much as cars!

I've liked triples ever since the days of the KH - they sing. More recently, remember the sound of Goddards Benelli Tornado in World Supers? or the FP1? I had the T595 some years ago -same stonking motor - pulled like train, rasping with a high level race exhaust, handled like a shopping trolley though and had a propensity to inexplicably overheat and spew coolant all over the back tyre.

Don't tell me that!

Sorry, didn't mean to put you off. The trumpet was actually one of the best bikes I've ever owned, because despite the fact that it was an attempt to emulate the Japs, and although it was certainly flawed, it had one thing all British bikes tend to thrive on - character. I think the speed triple is a lovely bike, and I'd have one tomorrow.
