Hi

We're staying in Barcelona centre for the MotoGP and need advice on the easiest/quickest/cheapest way of getting out to the circuit on Saturday and Sunday 25th and 26th.

I've seen conflicting information about whether shuttles buses run from Estacion de tren Montmelo and/or Estacion de tren Parets Del Valles. Can anyone confirm?

There seems to be a Sagales bus running from Barcelona Estació del Nord to the circuit. This takes around 90 minutes and is €25 per person which seems quite slow and expensive.

Can anyone help with recommendations please?

Thanks

Ian

Rent a 125cc scooter and drive there. You will not regret.

The walk from the train station to the track can be a pain, its about 45 minutes (which is ok on the way there but then you have to walk it back after a long day) and the shuttle buses I have been incapable of finding one for you,

Ok i did manage to find the shuttle, its that 416 bus there you can get from Montmeló station.

Still think renting a scooter is your best option, its also pretty ....... awesome to arrive there and park with other hundreds of bikes all reving up and loving what they do.

Thanks @320Dave!

We've done the UK Silverstone MotoGP and Donnington WSBK and French Le Mans GP on my own bike in the past and you're right about the buzz of being in with all those bikes!

We're travelling with minimal luggage though and won't have room for helmets, etc. Do you know how much scooter hire is likely to cost for the weekend?

Also do you know how much the R2N train to Montmeló would be for two people for two days return?

Thanks for your help

Ian

I have been to some tracks in Europe, and none have good shuttle or other transport services that is remotely as good as being on two wheels.

The track in Barcelona is so close to the city, you can spend the night anywhere in town and still see the moto3 practice one early doors without any problems

A quick search got me this: Rentals
