<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Isn't it interesting how many seem to blame the rider for the actions of others for whom they (the rider) does not have any responsibility?
Here we have some (and other forums I might add) blaming VR for the actions of his fans with their track invasion and juvenile behaviour towards CS. Did VR ask the fans to behave in the manner described? No (mine you, is is likely embarrassed)
At another point, we have CS being criticised because his garage door gets closed after what may well be a perceived bad performance. Did CS shut the door himself? No (he may well have asked)
CS criticises the behaviour of some sections of the crowd and is labelled a whinger/whiner. Yet many post in forums that the behaviour did occur and was poor, but still CS is labelled a whinger.
VR last year commented on his tyres failing him. To some he whinged yet we had a great many who said he was validated to complain/comment because their was factual evidence to back it up (pictures of the tyres).
Both CS and VR's comments were valid yet many who defended VR's as fact now label CS as a whinger for stating fact.
IMO, CS has shown no more 'petulance' that many (most) highly strung athlete, and these guys (and girls) are very highly strung as you have to be to succeed at this level.
The shame is that the track invasion seems to be foremost in peoples minds, yet the Brits had a winner for the first time in years, the racing was quite good (I don't need to see close stuff), and the weather lasted. Yet we (and many others) seem focused on the track invasion.

Focusing on what these guys say is first of all a waste of time.
I see that some here are looking for the honorable knight to be their idol, but I fail to see what that has to do with racing what so ever. I even can't really see what that has to do about being a fan. Racing is what these guys do for a living let them keep on with that.
What they say or not say are of little interest, maybe with the exception of exactly why things didn't work for them at that race. Substract the usual self preservating ........ and there might be some bits of information there. In addition it is amusing to watch the relations develop among the riders as that probably have some influence. But Wingning or not is of very little interest to me.
Only Biaggi has ever gotten to me because of that. The rest are ok. Some worse, some better but they are not pro PR people, they are +20 years old racers that has done little else but that their whole life.
