Torrens Trophy nominees

The Royal Automobile Club has announced the nominees for the 2018 Torrens Trophy with the winner to be revealed early next year.

Leon Haslam - British Superbike Champion

Peter Hickman - TT, NW200, Ulster and Macau winner

Tai Woffinden - Speedway World Champion

Ben and Tom Birchall - Sidecar World Champions and TT Sidecar Champions

Personally I'd like to see the Birchalls win it, they had a great year everywhere they've been.

I met Ben in 2004 and it was he who encouraged me to have a go at being a passenger, so glad I did (far to old really to do it).
