Just a new post to waste some time, i would like to know what everyones top 3 races of 2007 are?

mine are:

1. assen - we seen rossi showing some of the old magic, he rode a perfect race pushed hard till the end and took the win

2. catalunya- stoner and rossi battle it out but stoner rode like a demon and took the win.

3. estoril or mugello cant decide- still cant decide

.

plegh assen was good! why isn't it in your top 3, it was like one of the few races where rossi and stoner really had a good fight. assen to me was by far the best race of 2007!

I liked istanbul too, cause it was the last time it was there
<
I love that track

and yeah number 3 is a bit difficult

There was always an air of inevitability about it though. Rossi had been closing by up to a second a lap on Stoner, and the fact he was always peeking at the chicane was a giveaway.

Portugal - great battle between Vale and Dani (though it was the wrong outcome!) and the 125 and 250 races were cracking ones too.

Germany - got a different winner for a change, this time the right one

Qatar. need i explain?

i would go with your choice but add le mans because giuntoli had me jumping out of my seat as did randy.i think at that moment every motogp fan was praying guinta would pull it off,

Switch 2 for 1 and I'd agree 100% Even though Rossi didn't win, this was racing at its best. My eyes dried out from not wanting to blink.

1.) Mugello
2.) Catalunya
3.) Assen

i'm lucky to be able to name 3... that was difficult

lol funny you said that because i wasnt sure but in the end i decided assen, as much as i loved catalunya rossi's ride in assen was top notch, it made me realise rossi hasnt lost nothing that performance was a work of art and the bike/tyres worked well and wouldnt have been possible if they didnt, if i was asked what is my favorite battle of the season then it would be catalunya for sure it was a great race.

Must admit Laguna was one of the best rides of the motogp era maybe even further back.??

1. Catalunya, how could it be anything else?
2. Assen, absolutely vintage Rossi.
3. Estoril.

Catalunya. It was so tense it was almost difficult to watch. I would still have been fairly happy if rossi had won.

Assen was a perfect ride by rossi, but stoner had a few perfect rides as well.

How easily Sachsenring is forgotten eh?

Winky you just dont get it do you, it was harder for rossi to fight there the straight is well over 1000m long for sure casey deserved the win but rossi had to ride the nuts of that bike to keep up, i dont think any other rider would even of come close that day if they had to ride the yamaha.

but it was a good battle.

why do you always have to sour the threads

Assen was a perfect ride by rossi, but stoner had a few perfect rides as well.I know Michael, I was on my feet for the last six laps shouting at the TV and pulling my hair out, it was arguably the best race finale of the 4 stroke era, Brno '03 comes close, remember everybody going for it very early on in the race. I hope Barca is just as exciting this year, I'll be there!

I reckon Casey rode perfectly at almost every round, that's why he won the thing

Laguna Seca straight was not the issue there.... it was the tyres and i feel Rossi made his mind up shortly after that shocking overall performance to change tyre.

maybe your thinking of catalunya which i would agree about the straight there but Pinky was referring to Laguna.

have you seen a different race than me perhaps?! that was the most boring race I saw this season and a huge let down to see hayden and hopkins bumb into eachother and end the race for both. after 20 laps or so I figured it was a waste of my sleeping- time to stay awake for it, was one huge parade where nothing happend. after Laguna I found it a bit difficult to want to follow the rest of the season, that's how much Laguna sucked imo
<

1. LeMans.....suzuki won! easy.... and guintoli was wowing the spectators too.

2.Qatar... ducati and stoner blew every one except rossi away completely and rossi could do nothing about stoners faultless ride. the best season opener in recent times IMO

3..probably Istanbul, because that was a good track which usually produced close and exciting racing.

#3 was hard to think of....
