Thoughts of first race?

Hello to one and all.Just wanted to know everyone thoughts about the race? Do you all believe this is the way every race could go or will the other bikes FINALLY get top speed sorted so they can actually overtake Stoner on the straight? or is that going a bit to far . My thoughts on the race are , it was very exciting for around 8 laps then dull until the last 2-3 laps.Toseland did an amazing job with an old ...... bike as did colin edwards but I think if you put toseland on a fiat yamaha and he would have been on stoner all the way or even beat him(maybe).
I just hope the next race is like the first 8 laps with no clear leader and alot of paint swapping.Go Toseland.

Well it was a fair bit different from last year. For most practical purposes the main contenders do have their top speed pretty well sorted. There's no more absurd passing on the straight like there was last year and even last year there wasn't a lot of blatantly obvious Ducati straight-whoring anyway. For the most part plenty of bikes seem competitive with each other.

the race was ok but in my opinion i prefer day time racing.the way things are looking it will be the same ending as i cant see other teams catching up because as the teams develope the engine etc,ducati will progress a bit more so it always a game of catch up.ducati could go too far and ruin it for themselves tho.there is only so much you can do before it starts to go wrong.

needless to say it was nice to see all the riders line up once again. it was a long winter
i was impressed to see lorenzo do so well in his debut GP... i expect to see something big from him in 08.

aside from that, the race was pretty dull in my opinion. stoner made all his time on the straights as usual. i cant remember specifics but early in the race while he was running in 5th or so, he was trying to go for a pass but couldnt do it... and then low and behold, here he comes, flying past him down the straight. it wasnt quite to the extreme it was last season but it clear to see that he was on the fastest machine. i think the other teams are more competitive this year and i expect for there to be some close racing because the bikes are close enough for the real talent to come out on top. im looking forward to round two... but as for losail... bleh.

The FIRST motoGP RACE WAS AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!! And the dude's and duet's that thing motoGP is into a scence of disrespect are and should be shackled!!!

And also...what is that fools post on about??? ‘If this continues on like this...bbllaahh blahhh???” 2008 is going to be one of the most entertaining motoGP seasons eva!!!

Qatar was 'perfection' in Casey’s motion!!! He perceived and exhausted whoever was behind him or on par with him!!! ...that is A WORLD CHAMP!!! And how he is!! That’s OUR Casey!!!
