Hahaha great! NASCAR is so obsessed with power that not even headgear is safe.

Bow down to the almighty Daytona. The World Center of Speed. Home to Daytona Prototypes and, now, Daytona Sportbikes.

You WILL be assimilated!

Edmonson definitely needs to pull his head out when it comes to a few issues.

The AMA needs fundamental reform. It needs a transparent rules package. It needs equipment parity. It needs more privateer involvement. It needs to make the fans happy.

Everyone knows Mladin is going to be chastised for making a scene. DMG need to drop all of the stupid new rules in regards to the riders and how they must behave for sponsors and teams so they can focus on the important stuff.

Nice one. He'll always be an ....... but at least he's being an ....... to Edmundson and the rest of the lost boys.

I was never a Mat Mladin fan until I just saw that. YOU go bro and fight them the whole friggen way. I hope he is the champ so he can take a .... all over that joke of a series. DMG thinks they are so smart but they are the most ........ ..... on the face of the earth when it comes to REAL racing and not putting on parades.

Mladin may be a jerk, but the France family's Orwellian approach to racing is obnoxious. Good on Mat for spitting on the oppressive Daytona hype!

I still don't care for Matt, but he should have not even put that hat on. Why didn't the others have one on? Was it a ... at him from higher ups?

Here is a pic courtesy of motogpmatters.com. I'm skeptical of the AMA series and its NASCAR tones. This is a business though. Mladin is a lucky ....... to get paid to do what he does for a living. Hell, I PAY $1000's each summer just to ride around on tracks playing like I'm a major f$%ing star. He's got a job more than many can say now. He may not like the format, but that format is paying his bill. He should show some respect and not act like a ........6306:39_winners.jpg]

^^^He is paid by Yoshimura Suzuki, Makita and his other sponsors, not DMG. His real objection was probably the ugly girl that snatched his hat off, next time they should try an attractive chick.

Love it how she holds it in front of him and he pretty much ignores it, she was probably told to put it on his head no matter what. Love the hat toss, which was a bit disrespectful, but so was her forcing it on his head. Anyone with an ego like Mladin's would not take kindly to that. I still think he was a sand bagger in the series, anymore though, he can do whatever he wants, and clearly he's got that attitude going.

^^^I am not sure what you mean by "sand Bagger", can you please clarify?

Sand Bagger being typically someone who is too good for their class. Someone who sticks around when they could be competing against others on their level. This is just my opinion of Mladin, I don't know every detail of his career, but to me he always came off as a talented guy that could possibly do much more. Of course it is ultimately his choice to lead his life and career in the way he sees fit. We have had this discussion before, and again I don't promote myself as a Mladin expert. My opinions are not rigid, so I am open to hear anyone's defense of his career choice.

^^^He probably could have gone to WSBK and been a top guy, maybe even win a title. We will likely never know. He decided to make a ton of money beating guys he owns on the track. With the exception of Spies.
