Your right Rog. He has to at least finish 4th to take it. I hope Vale lowsides or his motor blows so it has to go to the wire. .... man it would just be par for the course for the season.
 
I'm pretty sure Ducati have completely refused to race the new bike early, and they are still racing the steel frame. I doubt they could use the carbon version without people noticing.

You are correct. They have stated that it will be used in 09 not in 08. It should be somewhere on crash.net or in an article in Roadracer x I think.

Yep it was tested in early to mid June and will not be raced until next year.
Nicky will ride it after the Valencia race.

Rossi will win the title in Motegi. No problem at all.
Stoner to have his operation after PI I reckon.

Talmacsi just had a similar operation after Indy.

I would think a rider taking the championship from an Australian at his home round is worse than winning it before that... but this is Rossi we're talking about 'everyone likes him'

well i hope that most have your attitude mate, be a shame if attendance was low because stoners not winning it..

when i was at valencia in 06 i was shocked when thousands of so called fans left the circuit just after rossi fell. it was like a ghost town for the rest of the race.

I think it will be decided next race. Rossi will probably finish on the podium, but who knows, maybe he'll ''enjoy'' it even more if he can do it in Aussie

So..if he ''accidentally'' makes a mistake next race I'm not buying it!!!
 
Rossi needs to lose 13 points to Casey to not win the title, i don't see it happening.

8 titles is a massive achievement especially in 13 years, but don't get ahead of yourself. I am looking forward to seeing Rossi defending again though.

You mean loose 13 points at montegi not to wrap it up there and then?
After all, he may loose 86 points to Stoner and still win the title.

Yea i can't see the championship being open in Australia, Rossi is probably gonna be on the podium and that would seal the deal.
