And none of this would have been possible without Carmelo Clause intervention. Makes me wonder how the record books have been altered. Sure, I agree Rossi made the best of the opportunity happen, no doubt. But it's these "opportunities", sometimes by design, that king build. Interesting that i wasnt able to watch the vid because it said, "you must be from Australia to watch." GP seemed to have a similar message, "you cant be from Australian..." of those titles from 2006 on, I honestly wonder how many would have had Casey Stoner on the trophy if instead Dorna with the help of HRC or Yamaha and Michelin would have treated him like they did VR? (Or for that matter MM.) Some are still reluctant to blame MM for his crashes, and only now are some seen with sour faces because he torpedoed the most popular rider. That has got to really feel very supportive for MM. Contrasted with CS, who when he was punted was the undisputed villain. But the legacy is he "quit" (from a sport he was booed and summarily hated). Oh but Rossi did not quit, because well, the sport loved him so much, even in failure, that it promoted him (by the league itself) to 1 of 4 winning bikes. Like Manatee said, the next move for an alien is a Honda or a Yamaha.

Rossi probably wins the world title next year.

I'm sure Michelin is looking at all of their old data while getting an erection over Rossi's.

They can just label the side walls with Il Dottore Speciale. Why even have any pretense over it?

So you're saying that Michelin are going to taylor their tyres to Rossi? You make me laugh. Hard.

Not saying they will, but who would you like to represent your products as MotoGP champion?

The dunce king? or the guy who wore the mortar board and tassel?
