Well, now that @JPSLotus and @synn have been talking about, and linking videos to old MotoGP bikes. My Youtube algorhythm is filled with previously unseen videos so I figured I'd start a thread.

This one is interesting. Rossi's first test on the Yamaha, and his discussions regarding the cross place crankshaft. What I enjoy about this as as one of the comments says, it is this moment that lead to the fact you can now buy an R1 with a CPS.

Some 2003 sounds, including the screaming Cube...and the Proton!

Stoner testing the 2014 RCV at Motegi

Finally, Kwak Screamer

If you find stuff, please post it here. Maybe @duc will pin it :)

BMW only bought the Inline 4 data! :D

I can't of wonder what they actually bought. It was data from the inline-4, but it's not clear if they bought the data to help them learn about engines, or if they bought the data so they know how to build their own sim.

I can see a situation where Toprak has significantly outperformed their simulation, and they realize it's terrible and leading them in the wrong directions.

Anyway, resume posting the old GP vids. I have a few stashed away somewhere. Hopefully, I can post later.

It has been rumored that BMW did make a prototype MotoGP bike in the early years, but then dropped the plans.

I couldn’t find any videos though, I doubt any exist.

Imagine right a 500cc 2-stroke grand prix bike on public roads...in the 80s

It's an incredibile video... Even more because It contains a blatant blasphemy 🤣

At 1.30 when Lucchinelli Is speaking Italian, he says "don't tell me, we are ruined, they're going to throw me in the ground" and then he adds an exlamation combining an animal and God that in Italy we call "bestemmia" and that Is something absolutely unaccetable in public transmissions (something like the N word in the USA).

Okay here we go, the Honda Museum taking out Valentino's RC211V from 2002. :)

Holy ...., I see a Williams FW11 there too! Man, I bet most of us would give a testicle to have those jobs.

I always think the first RC211 sounds so throaty, even by todays standards. I only got into GP in 2004 so can't imagine how strange it much have been to go from the screaming 500's to that. Especially as for 2002 they were both on track at the same time.
