The Doctor & Lorenzo : Hamilton vs Alonso?

It too early to predict but from Le Mans race I would say that the title contender this year is between Rossi and Lorenzo. With his handicapped, I cannot imagine Lorenzo can do if he is 100 percent fit.

Unless lucks bestowed upon Casey and Pedrobot agree to use new Pneumatic Valve Engine (If HRC successfully introduce Pneumatic Valve engine before Moto Gp goes for summer break), then these are top riders fighting at the front. Maybe once a while Edward will come in.

Anyone foresee that Rossi and Lorenzo will be just like Hamilton and Alonso in last year formula1?
Of course they use diffferent tire but Yam needs to decide who will be the champion this year..

Motogp is very different to F1 because there are no pit stop and qualifying stratergies that will work in one riders favour at the expense of the other. It would be rediculous to ask either rider to help the other until they were out of championship contention (more likely Lorenzo) so i dont think they will have a problem. The rivalry might get good though

I agree. In any case the problem only arises if pedrosa assumes the raikkonen role; it seems unlikely now that stoner will do so. I see it developing more as a proust/senna situation, although it should be remembered dani is equal with lorenzo and only 3 points behind rossi.

I would say Pedrosa or Stoner will assumes Kimmi role but I believe it must be Pedrosa..

No it wont happen, because FIAT Yamaha is only a team for the pictures, in real life it works like 2 independent teams. So there's no betrayal going on cause there's no team from the beggining.

Lmao.

No.. the same team strategies don't apply in Moto Gp, and more to the point, Pedrosa and Stoner are still in the race and I don't see it becoming a 2 man battle between the Yam boys.

Plus, if we're thinking like that Pedro will sneak the title on the last day, just like Kimi did

Regarding the rivalry aspect, I was saying in another thread today that Rossi is the master of the mind game. When the time comes Jorge should be easy prey for him - he'll know exactly which buttons to press, but I don't think he'll capitulate as easily as Max or Sete.

According to the self proclaimed genius and resident sage/soothsayer Dodgediz, Jorge isn't actually a title contender, which is odd logic, being as he's currently sitting in contention for the championship!!!????!!
