I guess they're not happy with their WSBK riders this year.

I also heard Pitt could switch to WSBK and that Sofuoglu was downgraded to WSS.

if chris rea goes to WSBK, i expect it will be a "road to hell". BUT if Johnny rea goes to WSBK then good things will happen...

This could involve dexy's midnight runners if due caution is not observed.

The way I read it, Rea was supposed to "learn the circuits" this year in WSS with the intention of moving up to WSBK. At any rate, its great to see him move up, fantastic rider. I can't wait for next years WSBK, the grid is going to be packed. And I hope one of my favorites, Haga, will win that elusive championship he so desires.

I thought he had a three contract with one in WSS to learn the tracks, a second one to win the title and then move to SBK, isn't it?

Thanks

As it stands now, there is a good chance Rea can fulfill both of those tasks in one season.

It would be great if Rea could win it in his rookie year and then move up to the superbike, which we know he can handle from his BSB experience. I wish I made more effort to watch the WSS this year.

He is definitely moving to WSBK no matter if he wins or not the WSS title

I really like him since his BSB years but I must admit I didn't expect him to be so close to win the title

WSS has been killer all season. arguably better than WSBK which is ahead of moto gp in terms "racing" anyways..
yes, the ten kate hondas usually win but the manner in which they fight all the way to the end is top class. hope this close racing stays in the class for 2009..

If you get a chance watch the WSS race of Assen from this year, amazing race between 8-10 racers swapping places all the way from start to the checkered flag. Without a doubt one of the most entertaining races I have seen.

With Pitt at 169 pts and Rea at 158, and two more races, there is a very very good chance its going to come down to the last race this year. Doesn't get any better then that.

Kyo won't race at Magny Cours and he will be replaced by German rider... no, not Schumacher but Martin Bauer
