I don't blame KR JR for leaving this season...the equipment they had was a joke.

It would be pretty interesting to see what they can do with Duc stuff.

Right On! Right On!

I hope that having two (hopefully decent) riders will allow the team to move foreward from their current position. I still have my doubts about the teams ability to keep up, but for them to have another shot is good news. What tyres?

Dorna is too freaking near-sighted in their approach to the promotional aspect of racing. Check this quote from S-TV regarding viewership issues in Europe in the wake of Stoners succsess and Rossi and Pedrosa's lack of it.

"Dude, Where Did the TV Audience Go?

<span style="font-family:ImpactWhat the hell is Dorna going to do when Rossi Retires? Maybe have Pedrosa ride around in a Rossi mask?

Why do you think they are so desperate to have Pedrosa winning? (Hint: TV viewers, market share, advertisement revenue). Its not a mystery; TV audiences are down, and what keeps them up is when the riders from that country are winning. And guess what, the TV network in Spain is the same lot as Italy. Who do you think is 'suppose' to be winning? .... man, when the negotiation between Honda and Hayden were going on, the sticking point was not money or length of contract, but simply that Hayden wanted at least "equal" equipment to Pedrosa! Imagine that. And they still ...... him and designed the bike around Peders (fact), and guess what, the bike was .... for most of the season! How’s that for irony?

Make no mistake about it; there is a reason why MotoGP has three rounds in Spain. There is a reason why Repsol Honda is a Spanish based team. There is a reason why, even when Hayden was outperforming his diminutive teammate last year, even then, he was and remains the #2 rider. And yet, the amazing thing is that people still insist in looking away from the reality and think that there is no favoritism toward Pedrosa in MotoGP!

Hard cold reality!

Cry me a ....... river, if things are that bad and Hay-boy is that good, he can .... off and go join team KR where he can be number one rider.. Will that shut you up?

Funny thing is you have done most of the crying on this forum as I remember over your bed buddy Ant West. So much so that the best and most wonderful name for yourself you could come up with was 'antfan'.

Yes, I am a fan, but when he gets a ride that he deserves and can use to demonstrate his potential (kawasaki not being as good as a factory HRC ride mind you) i dont whinge and whine about being screwed over and cry about unfair treatment..

Make all the excuses u want, Hayden lucked into a title last year and this year has been exposed as the fraud that he is.. Pedrosa is third in the championship, Hayden is not even in the top five, sorry thats not good enough..

Some might say Ant West "lucked" into a seat this season too. Sure he has done ok, but considering he is a "rain" specialist, he sure ...... up by blowing a start in a wet race, only to get to the front, but then relegated to the back because he didn't have enough control to wait for the start like everybody else. This of course had nothing to do with the machine only the rider, yet it is common knowledge that the Hondas (machine) have not been very up to par this year. Oh, and by the way, Peders was on a Honda last year also, yeah, the same if not better machine that his teammate was on, and won the title.

Yer, but Pedrosa was in his rookie season and Hayden had been riding on the RC211v for a fair few seasons.. Dont let your bias blind you too much..

I wonder how Ant's first six races compare to Hayden's first six? And i think it will be a good chance that Ant finishes ahead of Nicky next year in the championship race, assuming Kawasaki keep up their steady progress..

True, Pedrosa was a rookie on the bike, not the tracks or system. Bias? I think you may be suffering from this yourself since West was a regular to the tracks and system himself.

Call me when West actually wins something. Perhaps this is why you can't understand why winners deserve respect, because West hasn't won ..... When you win, you expect your team to treat you as the main guy. So I can see why this concept is lost with you, since, well, frankly, Hayden is in fact a champion, and West hasn't won jack .....

Casey Stoner is now the new world champion. He deserves all the respect next year with the factory Ducati team.

The only reassuring thing is that attempts at contrivance often seem to back-fire, as the real world is hard to predict.

I actually think the rule changes this year were a genuine attempt to produce close racing and it is hard to construe that they were intended to favour rossi and pedrosa. People who are sports purists sholud actually be happy that a less marketable rider has won, since this demonstrates that motogp is still a real sport and and has not turned into WWE wrestling yet.

I do agree with you concerning honda and their attitude to pedrosa.

Very good point. I guess that's why we all like to watch sport. It has an element (or at least should) of it being un-scripted and not predispose.

i can understand and agree that rossi and pedro are the most marketable riders out there as rj pointewd out, but you make a good point that the tyre rule would not benefit either of these.
im starting to think that dorna dont spend to much time thinking, i mean, bringing in 2 major rule changes in the same season was daft. mabe they thought it would help teams like kr and tech3 but imo this year was a weird season, be honest, who here would have bet there hard earned that stoner and duc would win and the jap big 4 would get it so wrong, because of this i think dorna should now leave everything alone for at least 1 more season.

Yeah nothing is luckier than going into the final round 8 pts down on Rossi and then kicking his .... Nothing is luckier than having the man your outracing and outclassing fall down from a irrelevant position so he can blame the tires and the bike while making your title illegitimate.

I have a strange feeling Nicky hopes he never gets so "lucky" again.

Ant West would be elated to see he has such a open minded articulate fan.
Here's a guy that believes that some lifetime, middle of the pack running racer that beat a couple of teenagers in a wet supersport race suddenly has the ability be a world champion at the highest level of racing.
On top of that he's riding a Kawasaki who knows about as much about winning a Moto Gp championship as Australia knows how to breed an attractive female.
We have all got it wrong. Here we are looking for the latest talent in young kids while it seems that 26 year old rookies are the way of the future. I'm sure HRC is kicking themselves for overlooking this diamond in the rough.
AntFan has the uncanny ability to see what most paddocks and fans have not. I guess all that blinding ability has blinded him to the fact only Ant West has a future in Moto Gp and that all other riders are classless losers.
Such an optimistic way to watch a a sport that most of us watch for the pure love of it.
I guess every loser has at least 1 fan I'm just wondering who is Antfans?

Australia has some good looking women.

And the accent...................I could listen to them talk for hours.
