Someone had him quoted as demanding engines from Honda. And I totally agree with you on that Rossi comment. He should've been threatening Yamaha for the tires, not Dorna.


Back on topic, though... I read an article today that quoted King Kenny as saying they would be using a complete bike if they got some from Ducati, but only because they wouldn't have time to develop a new chassis around it. In 2009, however, they would want to build their own bike around just the Desmo motor.

As of today, no bike. But that's how it was last year. They only got their big infusion a month or so before the season opener right? Or was it even later? Actually, I think it was like the second race in wasn't it?

On a side note, Ilmore is still around looking for sponsors. They are hoping to ride in '08. Why doesn't Dorna help them a little? And what ever happened to the BMW and Motocycz projects?

i hear there looking at wsb. i think a lot of manufacturers tell the press there interested in joining motogp to get some free advertising altho most of these reports ive read about bmw, mv, porshe ect were all in mcn, and we all no there full of .... most of the time.

Yeah but BMW don't need the publicity do they, they don't really have a competitor sales wise they kind of do their own thing, really well, but there was something happening a couple of years ago but then I think it got scrapped.
