Thinking of going out in 2016 , where is the best viewing grandstand . what site is the best to buy paddock passes. Can i get passes for friday as well. Will COTA be the only american venue this year? If it is, why can you buy tickets for Indy on line for next year? :spin: Might get to see Jorge this time lol.....:D bleddy hope so ...

Turn 15 is my favorite, but I got the multi-turn package when I went the first time.

I go through ORD about 6 times a month. If there's good weather, it's generally fine. If there's significant summer or winter storms, you'll need a tent.

O'HARE is good as long as you stay away from Terminal 5.
Poorly designed lobby, security screening access.
If it's busy like it was on Monday after Indy, it's a .... show.

Read this. It'll take you an entire evening to gain little to no practical insight whatsoever, but it's extremely puerile and amusing nonetheless. Also think twice about connecting through O'Hare.

This post literally took me 3-5 mins to regain my composure.

Libby, may I suggest you approach your track viewing weekend like this, Friday and Saturday pick a different spot to view the practices. Including Sunday's warm up. This way you can appreciate the riders and machines negotiating the entire world class circuit. Then on Sunday, watch the race from the elevated area on the grass just before turn 1. If I may offer one tip at this juncture, if you see anyone with a Crutchlow tshirt, move away, as you may have to endure some screaming otherwise.

Contact Shovelhead for paddock access.

Other highlights on your trip should include:

Waiting for Kropo amongst a horde of groupies. Dont expect him to show up, but its just as much fun to wait, the mere joy of people watching is worth it.

Take a $25 elevator ride up the tower. You'll feel inspired to tell your companion how much you appreciate their friendship and compel you to unfurl a national flag. Check that the euphoria has not cause you to deploy it upside down.

Go downtown on Friday and Saturday to party. Don't expect to meet anyone who is aware there is a MotoGP race in town, despite it being Texas, you will still be in America. The upside is there are plenty college ....., all friendly, if you're into that sort of thing. (Btw, the drinks are ridiculously cheap, making the presence of college ..... all that more interesting...I suppose).

For the love of god, do not try to sneak a bottle of water in, they will find it and confiscate without any ..... given.

No one has given her any help what so ever on meeting jorge yet. Jumjum I'm ashamed of you! I got this close by running through all the checkpoints acting like I was reaching into my shirt to pull out a vip pass. They key is to look like you have someplace to be and just keep moving. They can't leave their check points to get you so don't even turn around.

Austin was the closest I've been to actually shitting myself as a full grown man....

Avoid the Outback ( outhouse ) steak house

Unless you take part of riders for health events in europe, general public have no access to the circuit on Thursdays.
You need to be a guest of a team.
Can you just tell her you can get her in for a price and to PM you for details. I think the information is confusing our friend.
