Fans horrified at the crash which delayed morning warm-up in 250GPs at Brno on Sunday will be pleased to hear that Japanese rider Taro Sekiguchi is recovering after being involved in one of the most spectacular crashes in recent years.

The 31-year-old hit a bike in the middle of the track flat-out and sustained a cracked pelvis.



How many people commented it was fake? Too many, if you ask me...

MAN!!! i was wonderin about that crash! it was'nt shown on motogp.com. nasty! only uniformed ....... would think it fake.

Fake???!!!

That was terrible!!! I was completely shocked!!! I was walking around trying to find some good place to take some photos and I was just in front of the screen when they showed it. I'm not sure how the crowd reacted in that exact moment because I was

and felt sick myself, but after, while we were watching ambulance taking him, there was dead silence in normally very loud crowd. And that silence lasted for a long long time. Extremely creepy - complete silence, not a single sound.

I'm glad he's recovering.

Ouchy... the bike was just inches away from landing on him aswell, so it could have been even worse.

That is one of the worst looking crashes Ive seen in a while, speedy recovery to him.

The extent of Sekiguchis retinal damage is not yet known, but they are positive his eyes will reattach themselves between 2-3 weeks. In the time between that, he will be wearing binoculars to help his sight increase it's magnification - the force of the impact made his eyesight 3 times less powerful.
