Yeah but for every win there is a laguna, valencia warm up crash, barcalona puke gate and so on.

Thing is, even in a car that kink unsettles the suspension a bit. The rear wants to step out. I can't imagine under racing speeds on a motorcycle how difficult it must be.

I dont think you want me to get into this. Kehsav would you mind giving him a rundown of my opinion of what went down in 2009. Please be as accurate as possible, thanks. Point being for all 23 wins there is an equally opposite reaction.

Here's the problem with the fans at large, they all whine about a lack of authenticity among the riders or drivers at large in motor racing nowadays. It's warranted because PR considerations turn most of them into mannequins or VR.

When they finally get the authenticity, then they endlessly whine that the person is a ...., disrespectful, rude, or some other description along those lines.

The fans deserve a whole grid of Casey Stoner's.

And being rude to MotoGP?

Why because he didn't get in line with everyone else to genuflect before Carmelo, kiss his ring, and maybe offer to fellate him?

That one pass at Laguna Seca (Jps Lotus has just re-posted the footage) at 265 kmh is the answer to any question you might have.

Your opinion of what transpired in 2009 is your opinion, and in point of fact incorrect.

You are obviously free to dislike him all you want. You questioned the size of his stones. As I said, that pass is the answer to your question, as is winning any races at all on that Ducati, let alone 23. The other 15 wins on the Honda are as creditable as any other premier class gp wins, ie very, and also beyond the capability of anyone without testicular fortitude, even if that bike was rather better.

He won on a carbon fiber chassis and quit on an aluminum one. How do you conveniently excuse him for quitting mid season. That's all I ever need to know about his character. Since when is bitching about your employer a a character trait It's not like he ever tried to institute change. You boners think he was the second coming of Erin Brokovich. Have you ever been to the break room or a job site at lunchtime, 99.9% of people ..... about their occupation because every job out there is corrupt unfair poorly run and full of morons. The big difference being almost every job requires 40 hours a week and doesnt pay 8 figures. Jumkie sooks and moans daily about GP. Why then is he villified and not lauded as a hero.
Ive seen plenty of non GP riders pass at turn 1 Laguna. Nice pass but not an anomaly in racing. I love to see some footage of this 200 mile an hour corkscrew pass though

Manatee you think these guys just show up at a GP weekend, do the practice, qualifying sessions, actual race, and the press conferences?

There's far more they are doing, and it's not a 10 hour a week job or some ridiculous .... like that. All of the prep that they have to do would make most people thankful they only have to work 40 hours a week.

He didn't quit in midseason, he ANNOUNCED he was quitting in midseason which is perfectly normal.

Besides, he didn't want to be there for 2012 anyway and was ready to call it quits at the end of 2011 but got talked out of it by HRC.

Yeah yeah yeah Johnny. We have had this discussion before. I know more than a few people who make several million dollars a year. Nearly all of them are very talented and work very hard. Quite a lot of them eventually decide they don't want to do what they do any more, and not because they can no longer do it. Mostly their decisions are respected by their peers.

As opposed to many others btw, and one extremely great rider in particular, he never ever bitched about his employers, whether Ducati or Honda, whilst in their employ. I don't think he regarded Dorna as his employer; in fact I believe that was rather his point.

And since Kevin Schwantz found that pass remarkable, I am inclined to take his word rather than yours, given he has quite some history of making remarkable passes rather than merely observing them.

Maybe because the didnt spend their entire career slagging off their peers publicly
