Tonight's race has confirmed to me where the premier class is headed. Stoner and Pedrosa are the future of top flight motorcycle racing without a doubt. Just depends which way it goes. I hope they're at, or near the top for the next decade. Then I'll know the future of motorcycle racing has a great future for years to come.

and remember this is pedrosas home track.

end of day what it tells you is that stoner, pedrosa and rossi are way ahead of the rest of the pack. any one of the three could win the WC next year.

These two guys will battle for the title many years to come. Last year I would have said Pedrosa, but after this season, I have to say Stoner did an amazing job. Both of them are really good, better than the rest (excluding Rossi). I'm not sure how long Vale will stay in Moto. He might leave after next season, he might stay, time will tell, but these two riders are definitely the future. I can't decide who's better, for sure Stoner is the champ, but Dani didn't have a great bike all season, if he has a good bike next year, he might win the title.

I think there are some other folks in the paddock who will have a thing or two to say about that. Melandri being one for sure.

no i think all 3 riders are great. i dont like rossi whinging and his gloating when he wins.

no wonder biaggi and sete hated him. be a humble winner. whats worse this year, rossi has shown he isnt a humble loser either.

Of course those 3 will have some close battles next season hopefully, My eye will be on MM and Lorenzo next season.

Stoner just got outclassed. He had nothing to lose. He tried his best but couldnt handle what pedrosa had.

more like dani had nothing to lose, dani did not know where rossi was in the race. so he had to win to have half a chance, and then the rest was out of his hands

Though stoner had already won the championship. Why not go all out?

Why risk injury to pass somebody you have the beating of, week in week out? Nothing to prove really.
