bring me BSB/WSBK Any day over the Dorna pansy show

Only thing is taking a line through biaggi, checa and melandri these ....... would murder the current wsbk field.

no probs with the talent

its the way ppl are carrying on over these first few races

the headlines around the world arn't about the race its about other stuff thats gone on

motogp riders should carry on as they are

in fact they should take it 1step further they should have "wags" on the grid

and not one of them should be on camera with out having there "make up" being touched up first

the cheek of them

fooking .......

In 2009 when Motegi was moved to April from October, there were lots of rain and most of practice sessions were washed off. Guess who won? Lorenzo did. I remember Rossi said it was not good idea to move Motegi to April because it is rainy seasons in Japan. Obviously, he does not know much about the weather in Japan. April is not rainy season but the best time to visit. He complained even about weather because he lost to bitter rival. Which is more pussie? Complain about the questionable move of the fellow rider or weather?

Not knowing about rainy season of particular country does not make you pussie, of course. But, complaining about the decision to move the date just because it happened to have lots of rainy days in one race weekend sounds like he is so bitter about losing to his rival and wants to blame anything. When I heard it, I thought.. what a pussie comment! Actually, kissing to M1 for 10 seconds is the pussiest Rossi moment to me

WTF

the thread starts with Stoner's back playing up in the race.

And <6 posts later we're onto rain in Japan and VR tonguing his M1 at the end of 2010

Duuuuuuhhhh

Can we stick to the original thread

Hey, Squiggie - read this - I hope this problem does not continue for Stoner, whom I see as 2011 WC #1

We are seeing too many of the riders in an already much reduced grid being slowed down by injuries and ongoing issues with older wounds. Even on the Monday after Estoril Pedro was off track because of pain after his operation.

Only improvement I can imagine is more riders on the grid and more new talent moving to the front - needs big change of strategy for MotoGP

So, this explains his early problems in the race, and the reason he was touching his back.

I think that little shake at begin, gave him that back pain.

Seems a reasonable thing to hear from Stoner. Back injuries are very weird and unpredictable.

One time I stepped off a tall curb while crossing the street and landed funny and it ...... up

my neck for weeks, Not difficult to see how Stoner moving around in an unexpected fashion

to make abrupt attitude changes in the bike could throw out his back momentarily. And I've

known some really tough guys who'll tell you that lower back pain can really put you into

panic mode in no time at all. Glad he rode it out. Best thing to do (IMHO) when a muscle

is merely strained - as opposed to say, torn.

No controversy here. Next!

Stoner did drop pace around mid race as I recall the commentators mentioning it during the middle laps so it seems reasonable it might have actually happened and he was physically hampered.

Honestly they all carry on like ....... at times so Rossi was perhaps a little justified in saying this about the newer generation compared to the old guard - but really who can blame them. They risk their lives every time they go out on track and it is a very stressful way to earn a living and they are on the limit more than ever.

I don't think that any current rider, however has a particular mandate to claim ownership of a bravery award over the others as Rossi recently intimated..... coming from him I find this comment quite ironic considering the number of times we have heard about the shoulder recently, his past comments about the overtaking moves from Elias and the sooking he did when wanting Bridgestone tires to name just a few examples.

I had my lower back lock up one day while tossing around 80# bags of Sakrete.

It will stop you right quick!

I wasn't going to bite but let's see.

Pedrosa wins the race and says his arm was really sore.

Lorenzo comes 2nd and says in the post-podium interview he wasn't feeling at his best physically.

The third placed rider slows for half a lap well into the race, returns to his former pace, says post race that he had a back spasm that affected him for that half a lap but that he had no chance of winning the race anyway.

The 5th placed rider says that his shoulder is improving but still impairing him.

The 8th paced rider also is recovering from shoulder surgery and has arm pump and is lauded (correctly) for his effort.

The obvious non-prejudicial conclusion is that the 3rd placed rider is a whinger who is manufacturing symptoms and the other 4 are just responding to questions about their race and how they felt.

My lower back occasionally locks up following a motorbike accident 20+ years ago where I landed on my back straddling a traffic island (no bones broken).

Can now go while riding the bike, walking, sleeping etc, and when it does 'fark me' the pain is tremendous, but it can also disappear as quick as it starts. Weird but I have learnt to live with it and can at times even feel it starting.

I thought it was Sic's fault?
