It seems like he wasn't at an awards ceremony because he had a mole removed from his face, and the FIM is gonna have a meeting to see what they may do. His dad was there in his absence. I don't know the entire situation but I hope he wasn't out racing the V8 supercars when he was supposed to be at the awards and I hope the mole was just a cosmetic problem and not anything to serious. http://cyclenews.coverleaf.com/cyclenews/20111206#pg17

Well if they were serious they would have set up a video link

Besides, there are no moles in Australia so it was by our strict Fauna importation laws that Stoner could not attend. ie. he had to quarantined to have a mole removed.

Wow. He would rather get a mole removed than go to an award show that he was he biggest winner. Which is lamer? The award show or Stoner?

for the record there is no answer. Its like trying to figure out which came first, the chicken or the egg.

That mole can life a long, happy, fufilling, life now that it got its cancer cut off

Previously applied to rupert murdoch, but a good one nevertheless.

Hard to know from this the complete circumstances, but the off-season would seem to be the appropriate time to have off-season surgery, trivial or not.

I'm even going to allow myself to laugh at that.

The first day I met my neighbor there she warned me of the snakes. She keeps a cleared area, handy for chopper evac., cos as she said its two hours minimum to the first chance of treatment. Mind you her dog has been "hit" three times and is still alive ( also I think a vet is nearer than the nearest medico ...... note to self .... see vet if hit by snake ) ....... not a clever dog with snakes, it would seem. But she also rewarded me with the news that there are no funnel webs ( seems odd to me, cos my last place was funnel web central ) and no paralysis tics!! ( surrounded by enough native forest that they have not made it into the valley yet ) whoohooo!! At least I tend to see snakes.
