During the most recent race weekend at Bristol there was an event called "The Bristol Speed Trials." Super modifieds and sprint cars lapped to set the track record set by Sammy Swindell when the track was covered in dirt for a special event.
For some reason they wanted a motorcycle record and invited Scott Russell to lap the speedway. Not real quick, but kind of interesting for people who have watched stock cars lap the place for so many years.
