Sponsorship summit deemed a success

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Valentino Is God @ Apr 13 2007, 05:10 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>It can only be seen as a success once teams such as Ilmor and non-works teams are able to attract sponsorship.

Its not like they're gonna hold one meeting and suddenly a few million quid is just gonna fall in Ilmors lap. If the people involved think progress is being made and they have a direction to go in the future then the summit is a success. Lets hope we start to see the difference as soon as possible.

Of course Tom, it is a start. But it’s just that the people in charge tend to brag on like politicians about all they do and how hard it is, well, it is their job isn’t it? Moreover, if they had done it better for the last decade there would be more sponsors interested, but they just relied mostly in the immense Tobacco industry so now as that industry is down the hill sponsoring our sport is in kind of a lack of sponsorship while TV audiences are higher than ever!
