Ok, big horsepower track and in Italy so here I go.

1.Bayliss
2.Tose
3.Biaggi

1.Tose
2.Haga
3.Bayliss.

This is tough to call. Can the Ducatis hang with the big top end of the 4 cylinder bikes? I think Biaggi will do very very well on the big suzuki.

I'm not so sure Tom about Biaggi.

He's been fading in recent races, I suspect he may have lost motivation after not dominating as he may have hoped.

Yeah, i am beginning to worry about him and his chances. I think this weekend is make or break, and he needs a win. I still consider Haga to be the biggest threat to JT because he has been riding so well this year, but hes quite far behind now. We are nearly half way through the season and its starting to look a bit like domination.

Shhh Tom! You may be accused of being biased towards a Brit!

In all serious now: I suspect another JT 2-1 is in line for the weekend, but I expect the Yams and Ducati to fight hard.

Home territory for both teams (Team Yamaha Italia).

Westy to get a podium in his WSS cameo, must just want a chance to run at the front for once... He'll show what he can do on decent machinery..

I hope we get to see some potential from Ant in the dry, perhaps he will give up on the gp dream and move to the superbike paddock?

I knew there was a reason I like Lorenzo Lanzi. See the link, he likes my favorite track as well.

Predictions.

Bayliss
JT
Haga

Haga
Bayliss
JT

As much as I hate to leave Biaggi off of the podium, I'm going to give him 4th for both races. I do hope maybe he proves me wrong. I'm not really sure why I'm pulling for Biaggi because he was not my favorite guy when he was in Motogp.

you keep telling yourself that mate..

West is totally glued to those low points scoring positions isn't he? hahaha

JT makes a mistake, disappointing, it looks like Biaggi and Haga could both be looking to do some damage this weekend.

Haga San kicking some ...

Yer Ant just couldnt up the pace with the really experienced fast supersport guys (who know the bikes and the track).. I think his race pace will be pretty strong though, and yes hes always been a poor qualifier.. Still be interesting to see how fares..

Anthony West, who is standing in this weekend for the injured Kevin Curtain, had only his second day on the YZF-R6 and spent the morning session continuing to familiarise himself the bike's handling and weight characteristics. As the pace quickened throughout the day the 250 GP star found himself hampered by his non-standard leathers and was unable to improve upon his time from yesterday, eventually qualifying in 14th place.

Anthony West (14th - 1'51.867 - Yamaha World Supersport Team) "I have learnt a lot more about the bike today and I have a much better understanding of what needs to be done to set it up for me. We are very short on time though. The biggest things for me to get used to have been the weight of the bike and the way it handles when flicking from corner to corner. I'm not happy with fourteenth by any means. I want to be in the top five tomorrow and I need to get a good start tomorrow to have any chance of achieving that."
