ROSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The skittles was brilliant!

I haven't seen Rossi look that relaxed or like he was having fun since the 2005 season.

What a great race, well done Rossi, Pedrosa and more even Colin Edwards - getting himself a podium at long last! Rossi's first win in 6 or 7 or so races, brilliant! Loved the celebration too. Checa!:D

what a sad and sorry ride from the cruisin cartetaker. at least he is consistant, consitantly crap.

what a ride by the doctor, the mans back on form.

Valentino Rossi has moved into the lead of the 2007 MotoGP championship with a dominant victory in the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez.

The Yamaha rider dived past polesitter Dani Pedrosa on the first lap, and although the Spaniard was able to stay with Rossi at first, a mid-race charge by the multiple champion put him out of Pedrosa's reach.

Rossi's teammate Colin Edwards chased Pedrosa home for third, while Qatar winner Casey Stoner came alive in the second half of the race and charged from ninth to fifth, finishing right on the tail of fourth-placed Toni Elias.

World champion Nicky Hayden ran fourth initially after an outstanding start, but could not maintain his pace and slipped back to seventh at the flag.

Full report and results to follow shortly...

Who you talking about "crusin caretaker"??

That was more like the Rossi of 2005. Absolutely brilliant ride from him. Great ride from Pedrosa and Edwards. I thought stoner did well considering his teammate was down in 12th and he was the second bridgestone runner behind elias.

Pity about hopkins, cool shot of the crash though. Hayden, performed as well as last round, ordinary.

Rossi will be gunning for his first win in Turkey, can anyone stop him?
