Rossi and the cat thing is refering to Blofield from the James Bond films. Blofield was a master of a criminal organisation, in the same way Rossi is the master at Yamaha.

Yea, that was cute, but they didn't fully develop the idea. I wish they'd have taken the time to whip up a proper Evil Genius set or backdrop for him. Some Evil Chortling would have helped too.

That is good to hear/read as it would seem genuine and to me that is admirable within todays media focused arena that they guys and girls operate in.

Funny thing is that I know a number of people who say similar things about riders that are pilloried in the media and forums as being absolute prats (and nope, not Stoner although I do know a few who know him away from thetrack). But I guess the big difference is those that can remain calm/focused when in the spotlight will be seen in a better light and IMO the video and comments I have read are really making me like this guy (his riding has my respect already given the year).

Actually, in seriousness on that one, didn't Barry Sheen once make a similar statement about his dietry habits (although I seem to recall he also added smokes, beer and women).

The modern age has a lot to be thankful for, but man as with most sports I miss the beer swilling (and I don't mean VB/XXX/Fosters .... either) afterwards.
