Yes, of course it bothers me that my boy St. Nick is matching his teammate yet has remained relatively invisible. And Yes brotha, "debunked". We heard that Rossi could develop a Vespa into a space shuttle BEFORE he hopped on a Duc. We heard he could ride around any problems Casey was experiencing BEFORE he hopped on a Duc. We heard that if Casey and Rossi were teammates that Rossi would rider circles around him BEFORE he jump on Stoner's bike and could NOT muster even a top 10 in Valencia (after that exact Ducati had podiumed the previous day). If Ducati have done nothing for Rossi in the last 18 months, then Casey and Nicky rode the same bike since day one they jumped on it, were even the overrated Nicky was able to muster a string of dry race 4th. My buddy Mdub has championed that Casey develops backwards (though I've never had the energy to debate him) it would stand to reason Rossi has developed in
hyper-worpspeed reverse OR as Rossi fans would like to describe it "Ducati have done nothing for Rossi."
Again, 2011 has debunked the belief that Rossi is any better or worse than the top 5 riders in the world, in addition it has proven to those willing and able to see that without his many advantages and exclusive influence in the sport, his title story would have been vastly different. Now he will surely be propped up again. Any race wins or podiums on a factory M1 will be ... hallow as many of his titles in my book in that they are directly from the league script. Dorna have been actively worked as Rossi's personal agent, this is not authentic, and neither have been or will be his results. What separates WWF and GP? Carmelo=McMahon.
