Speedweek reported back in summer that Sky would get pay-TV rights while RTL and ProSiebenSat.1 (our country's largest privately owned broadcasting companies) would share Free-TV rights.
Like everything put out by Speedweek this turned out to be fake news and Sky will have exclusive live broadcasting rights in Germany next year.
Sadly the sport is bound for complete irrelevance now.
