Can't seem to purchase the Silverstone motogp tickets from the motogp site, any ideas what's going on?

On that note, does anyone have a floor my brother & I can crash on for the Thursday night? We have Paddock Passes and hospitality from Tech3 on the Friday and i;d rather not have to drive 3 hrs in the morning. I can't wait!!!!

Ask Arrabbi. I think he lives near the track.

I live in France, I intend on coming in to the UK via Eurostar, can someone please tell me the best way to get to the event using public transport. I wrote via the form on the event website, they weren't very helpful.

wow lots to research there public transport / trains etc

what day are you coming ? public transport ain't the best and if your coming saturday into sunday public transport will be rubbish on Raceday

i'd say your gonna have to get into London and from there your best bet is getting a train to Northampton

that's the nearest town.but from London your going to have to find which train station station serves that area of the country

from Northampton it will Taxi 14-mile 22-km or so ? or any local service bus/coach that may serve silverstone on race weekend

then there's may be traffic jams etc

sorry cant help you more but it sounds like it will be hard work using public transport.

check google map for an idea.i'll look

Hey fellas.

just got back from mugello and had a great time all things considered (rossi hayden).

but for you all traveling to a strange land here's a heads up. my girlfriend booked us a last minute motogp package with poleposition travel.

they booked us a great hotel in Florence (3 days) , Shuttle to and from the track on a nice air conditioned bus, and great stadium seating! not to mention a catered motogp party at the hotel and the chance to meet a lot of really nice fans. They also had a guest speaker (motogp veteran photographer). Pretty much everything was taken care of once we got to the hotel room. all for about 1250 euro total for the both of us.

i'm not affiliated at all with these folks, they just treated us great and it was a great time. stress free. i think they go to most of the gp's around the world.

we're thinking about going to Japan next year and we'll definitely use them again.

Sounds like public transport's going to be a bummer, to avoid the headache, I might just have to stay in paris - shanzelize and drink coffee & window shopping with the girlfriend instead? atleast she'll be pleased, & I'll pretend to, I wish there was a proper public transportation system to the event on Sat/Sun. I'll start looking into renting a car or bike from London , we'll see...
