Well put !

I think you can count Toseland out of the Tech 3 team. I do not think he will settle for much less than a factory ride. And also I do not think Kawasaki wants to retain Randy DeP, I heard talk about an all american Kawasaki team next year. Maybe some Roger Lee? And the comment about KR and his offspring, I do not think you realize how good Kurtis Roberts is. When Honda had HRC equipment in the states he was taking it to Mat Mladin every weekend. The guy can ride very well, just needs a bike underneath him.

Uh huh, and Colin Edwards was taking it to the guys in Superbikes on a weekly basis, doesn't make him any less useless in MotoGP.

Here's how I see it:

Gresini Honda

LCR Honda
- No idea

Konica Honda
- Hiro Aoyama/Kiyonari?? (Konica need a Japanese rider and Nakano and Tamada haven't proven themselves)

Kawasaki
- John Hopkins
- Randy De Puniet

Suzuki
- Chris Vermeulen?
- Loris Capirossi

Second Suzuki Team (Aspar?)
- Ben Spies
- Alex De Angelis

KR Honda/Ducati??
- Kurtis Roberts

Yeah I think JT will probably wait one year until Nicky's contract runs out, and then try to take his place in HRC.

Randy has been Kawa's best rider, so I doubt they'll fire him.

And with all due respects, Mat Mladin is the champion of a national series, therefore I don't regard him any better than Kiyonary, Hodgson, Lavilla etc ... and Roger Lee is not even at his level.
So unless Monster Drinks really has a say in the team I doubt they'll pick Roger over Randy or West.

Gresini are fairly short of options right now, people aren't running to take Honda rides, especially non-factory ones.

I think Elias might have no choice but to take the numbe one slot at Gresini until the Aspar/Schwantz Suzuki team sorts itself out. Hopefully Suzuki will supply them with two bikes in 2008/09 with the news that Spies wants in to MotoGP. Elias and Spies would be an exciting combination.

Austin, hard to know who has no choice, Elias or Gresini
<
Neither of them have a choice really

Johnny Rea?? that would be a big jump wouldnt it?, well if im to be honest that would be a good move if Haslam decides to stay in bsb next year...then it leaves the bsb championship more open for Haslam

If Ducati give Capirossi a 3rd factory bike for his final MotoGP season then KR Ducati would be very very unlikely. Unless King Kenny takes this year's D'Antin bikes/engines and D'Antin gets this year's factory bikes.

Just a reminder Stoner has now tied all of Capirossi's victories for Ducati....and with 1 more win Casey will tie all of Ducati's victories and all of Capirossi entire 500/MotoGP career number of wins...

I would like to see Kawi ditch RdP and sign West for sure. Maybe even toss RLH a bike and see how he does. He couldn't be anyworse the RdP for most of this year.....

I've thought RdP has been rather impressive this season when he's healthy. He pitches it away frequently but as has been said, you can teach a fast guy to quit crashing but you can't teach a slow guy to go faster. I hope he has a ride somewhere for 2008.

LCR Honda

Konica Honda

Kawasaki
- John Hopkins

- R.Hayden (Kawasaki are crazy)

Suzuki
- Chris Vermeulen
- Loris Capirossi

KR Ducati
- Kurtis Roberts
- Leon Haslam/Chaz Davies (only if its Ducati)

Some of these are a bit of a stretch. This isn't and ideal line up and I have no idea what deals some of the lower riders have going on.

Haslam??, i wouldnt quite say hes ready for GP yet if you ask me....

Kurtis is?

Haslam's had some experience in GP, I only really threw him in there because of the Brit/Ducati connection. I wouldn't say Chaz has done anything to justify a place in MotoGP either but what he hell, it's better than 2 Roberts on the bikes.

yeah i understand why you put him there now, but personally i hope Haslam either stays with BSB or goes to WSBK
