FP1
1st - Stoner -> 2'01.538
2nd Hopkins -> 2'01.603
3rd Rossi -> 2'02.050
A half second behind in FP1. This could means tire selection misses or problems with bike setup.
FP2
6th -> Valentino -> Discarted, no progress made by any other top rider except by Rossi that for sure here, he take out the delay in succeeding a good bike setup.
FP3
5th -> Valentino -> one of the worst top rider with Michellin, turning 2 minutes high within a bunch of laps above 2:01.
QF -> Rossis continues to turn 2 minutes high, while a bunch of riders turning 2 minutes low with race tires. This is not good for someone who matchs for the victory.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Rossi was right there with hopper and stoner on all pracitices, including the Q-sesion.
although apparently he was near top riders, most of his laps was bad. This suggests that some "fast" laps in FPs are made by his talent and the rest of it, the bike setup and tires were his bound.
Anyway, we'll see later how Rossi can perform. I am only thinking on what himself "suggests" days ago: this circuit he is no match for both hopkins and stoner and he knows it.
When Rossi is confident, he doesnt keep repeating that he is not favourite. He just keep shuted up and shows a lot of talent in the track.
Hugs for all, I will be back for commenting the race results.
Anyway, good lucky for all!
