i'd love to hear the opinion of you lot on why the moto2 was stopped.

some ...... must have raised his hand right?perfect conditions eh?

Cliche,i rode my 400 to work everyday through the UK winter which included horizontal rain snow & fog then it was my only transport when i was younger, its not nice but i wasnt being paid millions.

I dont think its that that is bothering everyone, its the fact that 1 rider puts his hand up & it he gets his way.

I hate to think what would of been being said if it were Stoner or Rossi who had pout there hands up.

They could of ran at least another 5 laps before the weather deteriorated to a really bad state.

Moto 2 should not of been stopped either, they only had about 2 laps but as their golden boy Marquez had dropped his bollocks they didnt want Esparagous getting any further up the running order so handed the red flag out.

Is it me or am i the only person who can read between the lines here?

Funny, I was thinking if it was Rossi or Stoner's hand going up and the race getting stopped the Powerslide server would have shut down.

You don't think Jlo raising his hand had an effect on race control, they could have thought he was leaking oil. I've seen much worse race conditions.

i consider the riding conditions i put myself through to be tough as well but i have a big problem with guys sitting thousands of miles away and then judging "well it didn't look worse than silverstone". what the ....... .....

i could say the same "oh but the wsbk guys raced at nürburgring last year" but i'm smart enough to know that i wil look stupid comparing rain in germany (no matter how hard it is) to monsoons in malaysia that get worse by the minute.

if you guys honestly think that lorenzo waving was the only reason this race was stopped you are sadly mistaken

its adorable/funny when the veterans do this tin foil hat stuff but seriously, stop the wwf .... you guys are killing me

meh, sunday morning races are not for cliché, much too sober to deal with this forum.off to motomatters.

Daryl Beattie confirms Lorenzo only raised his hand because he was dropping like a stone. No problems for Dani or Casey to keep going. No rivers across track, standing water, fallen riders or bikes in dangerous positions. Why not let it run, especially after Misano, Lorenzo should have to earn it.

What was that? Why the hell was the race stopped at that particular moment?

I mean, yes, the weather conditions eventually were so bad it should have been stopped .... about 15 minutes after the red flag.

Lorenzo (guess his soft tired had worn out) waving his hand while accelerating out of a corner... I mean, damn. No blame on him, it was the smart thing to do, but what was race direction thinking? Where was that red flag during Philip Island last year? Silverstone?

Do I think Lorenzo's hand going up all of a sudden started race direction to question the conditions? No, i would guess they were already starting to think about it. But it looked like he influenced the timing. Like I said he's got horseshoes up his ... not going down at the end there, and the race bring stopped when it was. Very fortunate for him.

Ah, I see I'm not the only one troubled by the red flag.

I think last year's race may have had something to do with the red flags in moto2 and motogp today, more than who it was that raised his hand.

Still, the haphazard way race direction chooses to stop one race and let another run is complete .........

Good call for once from race direction many riders fell in the few minutes before the red flag

a few mins after the red flag it was un-rideable

another zzzzzz event how long i can go one wasting electricity and my time on this crap i dont know

thanks for clearing that up, i was seriously irritated by the suggestions the flag was lorenzos fault!

for the record : i'm thinking the same

By the way Cliche

Young - Smoke Weed

Older- Shoot Wife (Just dont tell her i said that!)

there was this nutcase who caught his wife exchanging text messages with sexual content with another man, he then consulted his cats for advice which supposedly told him to smoke a blunt and then shoot her.

shows what great/wise animals cats are.

I'd say 'a few minutes before'. All of them falling due to overriding the bike in changing, but not unridedeable conditions (and I think most of them also the ones on the soft tire). By the time the red flag came out, things had settled again. It wasn't until +- 15 minutes after the red flag that conditions became unrideable. By which time the race could have been almost run in full.

Talking about special treatment. JLo used up his soft rear, raised his hands twice and woops- race stopped.

Fanily enough, he looked annoyed, I guess he was expecting the red flag to come out on his first wave.
