2:35am.... Now to sleep! (Again!).
ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Man oh man, all that exitment for a race that non of the top runners were even fighting seriously.

They should run these races (with the chance of of rain) in the begin of the year that riders can take risk in it.

of cource for me and i think for most of the Rossi fans it was very exiting to see if he gets enough points at first and later on a Podium and then keeping it safe and bring it home or not.

What a master start by Lorenzo, before the end of lap one he was in 7th and in front of Vale.
But Casey had a nice run to ride it 1 second faster than everybody for the most of the race.

and Pedrossa also did a solid job by taking the prresure from Dovi.

But the most exiting part of this race was were Horhey passed Vale and Rossi followed him through, and then 1 by 1 they overtook the guys.

all in all this has been a real Easy and at the same time difficult championship for Rossi, even Horhey crashed a lot, but he did put the prresure on Doctor and he got in his head a bit.

Easy because they all played it in his hands, and difficult because he couldn't use of all his chances and crashed a few times and made unnecessory mistakes and didn't capitalized on all his chances and he came a few times under pressure from Lorenzo.

So Can Rossi survive another year of high presure by his team mate or Lorenzo will get even stronger and experienced and become the first team mate to beat him in a whole year period.
Horhey won 1 race last year and 4 this year and he brought the championship so far just to lose it one race before the end and that's a high quality performance against the GOAT. So next year he will aim for more win and points and concistancy. For the 2nd time in his motogp carrier He couldn't win 9 wins per year in 2009.

I think Rossi will certainly need to find his A game and the form of his 2008 if he is going to beat the competition and specially Lorenzo. Let's not forget that Stoner will also learn from this year, that if he isn't on his top form, but it's still better to continue racing than going home and resting.

I think he is very obset that he lost those 3 rounds. He could be in front of Horhey or with a bit of luck still with a chance of a shot in the championship.

and for the next year we have a few new comers that i think Simocelli is worthy, but bautista is not at the grade of Motogp at all. he hasn't achived anything and he is a poor rider under pressure. I think or know he will become the first rider in Motogp that i think negative about him.
He crashes a lot and if it wasn't for his father i'm not sure if he could take any ride in Motogp.
But who knows maybe he can shine in motogp and after a few years he wins a race or get to podiums.

Let's hope we will watch an exiting and dry race in Valencia to farewell with 2009 motogp for 6 months.

all in all

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIENDS,
WE KEEP ON FIGHTING TO THE END
WE ARE THE CHAMPION, WE ARE THE CHAMPION,
NO TIMES FOR LOSERS
CAUSE WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS
OF THE WORLD

Very happy with the ride from Vermeulen, starting off in 14th & finishing 6th. When i seen the rain coming down, i was rubbing my hands together.

Only one guy was in that race, everybody else cruised

1 second a lap faster. thats ridiculous. Now you can see why races get boring.

Edit: I was wondering whether or not Valencia would be worth calling a race this year, but hey maybe Spies will give Stoner a run!!?? ..... I can hope.

Though Lorenzo and Pedro will want to appear good.

Rossi will have his mind on "Barramundi" now ( and with good cause )

Stoner was on a different planet today! He's been brilliant since he came back and its great to watch and ominous for next year. Lorenzo's recovery was excellent but ultimately he wasn't fast enough. Rossi did exactly what he needed to, Pedrosa was good again... consistent but lacking the extra speed he needs.

JT was crap again, Hayden looked the best he has for a while but still not great. The mid table battle is far from over, the Gresini guys have a score to settle and Melandri is still riding brilliantly.

Congratulatuions to Rossi. There is no doubt he is a great champion. Now that 2009 has been won we can look to 2010.

I will throw down right now that I have no doubt that Stoner will win the 2010 MotoGP Championship. The last 3 races proved that all of Stoners other wins were down to great talent, adaptability and fearlessness. The Yamaha will be the bike to beat next year but Stoner will be the rider to beat and I don't think anybody will be good enough to do it.

Congratulations to valentino on a well deserved championship. I agree with someone earlier in the thread that whilst he obviously rode more than well enough this year he rode closer to his peak last year, and will need to do so again next year when stoner will again be his competitor rather than jorge.

I am warming more and more to dani, and liked his rather self-deprecating comment about finally getting a wet podium.

Casey seems to have pulled himself back from rumoured near career oblivion fairly rapidly, and I am sure hrc will be happy to take him on if marlboro man thinks his media persona is detracting from their drug sales. From my obviously biased perspective the impressive thing about the races since his return is that he has ridden tactically; in the circumstances of this race in 2007 he would have pushed at maximum pace right till the end of the race.

You guys still don't get it . I am sure he is upset that he missed the races, but he says exactly what he believes to be the truth and clearly thinks he did the right thing taking the break. Events before and since the break, particularly the difference in his physical appearance at the end of races, would indicate to me at least that what he believes to be true does actually coincide fairly closely to reality.

^^^ plus I think it matters not a toss to stoner if he comes 2nd 5th or 27th .... its only first he wants, hence why he virtually knew his fitness was not up to it. At least he could win some races since he recovered correctly. Runs of 3rd and 4th place were getting him nowhere. Plus I think monetarily his deal at Ducati is not so great unless he is winning

Anyone see the sticker on the screen of Hayden's Ducati???

A cartoon of himself saying "BACK OFF...don't touch me" from memory.

Obviously sick of being run into.
