The man only has 285 post as of this moment. But all of them have been stellar. Go check out THE TOP TEN thread pined above this board. When certain members talk (Rising Sun, Arrabbi, Gaz, Mr. Shupe, and rare few others, et al), they are like E.F. Hutton. (Not sure if you get the reference, but basically "When EF Hutton talks, everyboby listens"--use to be a popular TV commercial in the 80s).

Lame. Not only can you NOT debate intelligently, but you can’t even come up with original witty replies.

Anyway Talkla, if you ever extricate your lips from Rossi ....., you will see people can admire the man without having to hype him up beyond the universal deity. That some people admire the man while recognizing his imperfections, is not hating, that’s simply reality--something you know nothing about.

True.

Stoner is the most successful MotoGP rider since 2007 (i.e. in the 800cc era) in terms of score (if not in terms of points or titles):

49 starts, 20 wins, 33 podiums, 16 poles, 867 points

Compare to Rossi's:

52 starts, 19 wins, 36 podiums, 13 poles, 900 points

or Pedrosa's:

51 starts, 5 wins, 29 podiums, 9 poles, 700 points

Lorenzo has one year less than these 3, anyway he's already on a par with Pedro:

33 starts, 5 wins, 17 podiums, 9 poles, 435 points

That's a weird post J4rn0... your stats prove CS & VR are more or less equal...

Ok .... it took you guys long enough!!

Now can I put MDub's carcase in the bopperbin with Rog. Chocko, Talp, Arrab, Johhny etc. etc.....

Though I think as dead and stinking as it will be after Rising Sun "Rollered the road kill", Michaelm will still try and reason with it

...... so can you guys keep him away from the bin lid

Credit were credit is due, rising sun has put me in my place. Thankfully he doesn't come around to often.

I looked back to find something about him bitching about his bike, but could come up with anything besides the normal pissing and moaning. Oh, what is this? My ...? Thank you sun for handing it to me.

Well, some credit to you too for taking it on the chin.

Sometimes you just cant keep arguing against facts!

If Rossi doesn't beat Stoner in Valencia what will that mean? I mean to lose 4 races in a row to a guy that basically doesn't even deserve to be on the same track has got to hurt. But then there is always next year with 4 world champions coming into the series...ya no worries.

Well the Bopper side says it means the last 'Two' Championships in a row were for Rossi... Basically he is competing against younger riders and still kicks butt! In rrelation to the last race, he could be concentrating in Monday's 2010 M1 development, who gives a crap anymore about 2009? Oh yeah: 2th, 3er and 4th may give a crap!

For Stoner it means he rode with no pressure in the last 3 races and last one will be no different.

So what does that mean? Nothing!

Ya the whole world was writing him off as a loser. Ducati was looking for a replacement. Former world champions were disrespecting him openly...no pressure at all. And now he blows the competition away first practise.

yes and you will probably find that he will end up where suppo has gone in the future when his contract runs out at ducati as him and suppo are pretty close.

i think its part of the reason why suppo has moved on, tension was probably running high in the ducati garage, i dont think he was happy with them looking to replace casey and didnt like them wanting casey to appologise for being sick.

i dont think most of the crew like casey as much as we think either... its just the way they look at him sometimes and roll there eyes, i have also seen the crew look at eachother as if to say "oh not this .... again" they even done it when he was sick in one of the races as he was crawling off the bike.

Thanks for the mention Barry. Now I'm intrigued? - who precisely do I 'bop' about on a regular basis? - Please explain

Spot on.
Fact is, Ducati have to hold on to Stoner, like him or not. Suppo tried to find an alternative but got it all wrong and consequentely had to pack and leave. Now, if any rider is going to follow Suppo, I'd think of Lorenzo rather than Stoner -- Casey has all reasons not to trust him any more.

I doubt he leave Ducati. He is on a known winner and a bike that he can exploit to its full potential. He may be able to ride the other bikes easier but they all have their quirks and it is quite a risk to go from first for sure to less for sure. There is no way I could know anything about the inside relationship tension in any garage I'm just too far away from it.
