Possibly hubris on the part of Forcada, when you consider (potentially) how much better Casey would have fared were he been able to self determine the bike set-up rather than being forced to accept that of Forcada - and been on better tires. I wouldn't be surprised to find that Forcada's estimation of Stoner at the time was strictly hindsight. Were Forcada a more insightful gemologist - Stoner might have begun 2007 on a better Honda with better tires - and ended 2011 with say 4 championships instead of 2.
