My gut tells me the Ducatis are going to be unstoppable again.

Stoner
Rossi
Capirossi
Pedrosa
Hayden
Hopkins
RDP
Barros
Vermeulen
West
Edwards
Who Cares.

Hayden likes this track, but lots of breaking means he's gonna smoke his tires and finish behind Pedrosa, I think.

I think Capirossi and Hopkins are the most volatile of the picks. Both could do better or much worse.

John Hopkins went like a scolded cat here in winter testing.

He'll be fighting with Stoner IMO.

its totally open now after reading about the resurfacing i'm not so sure it will be all Ducati.

is pretty good on new surfaces/tracks where everyone starts with no data....
still think stoner will take it tho'

Rossi will continue his form from last year and fight at the front, whether it is he or Stoner that wins is up in the air.. Stoner is the safest of bets judging by his pure dominance this year, long straights at Sepang too.. Westy is pretty decent on new surfaces/tracks with no data too, see Misano WSS earlier this year

1. Rossi

+ 1

1. Hayden
2. Rossi
3. Somebody

Michelin:
1. Hayden
2. Rossi
3. Somebody

Bridgestone:
1. Hayden
2. Stoner
3. Rossi

Rain:
1. Hayden
2. Stoner
3. Rossi
4. Vermuelen
5. Guintoli

Hayden was running pretty good until his bike took a dump.
I think this is the first time I've put Rossi in the top three, so why did I place him 2nd, well, I remember all the prediction of Mugello where everybody picked Stoner/Ducati domination. Also, Rossi is hungry and so is Hayden to finish the year on a high note.

I usually put Hayden first because I’m a diehard fanboy, hope burns eternal, and I believe in his talent, but I think the places he has a realistic chance to win, because of the nature of the track, have been: Laguna (obviously), Phillip Island (lots of left hand turns), and Valencia. He loves left hand turns because of his flat track background, and he seems to have lots of confidence going in all backed up. Its no secret, he's had a terrible year, both because he didn't adjust quick enough and some other issues, but I think he's had much better pace lately, more than the first half which was a real nightmare.

I'd be willing to root for Rossi win Malaysia, for a win by Hayden at Valencia.

Yep, and don't forget that Casey was off the pace in that test as well. What ever happens, looks to be a cracking race.

I'm sure Nicky will run at front...until Casey pull the pin, and leaves him to get caught by Capirex and Rossi....or maybe Hopper and CV...

Some things I think you should bear in mind...
1) Sepang has just been resurfaced so this usually spells disaster for tyres, especially Michelins (I like to call them 'Shredies')

2) Lest you forget Casey's background is in....Dirt Tracking....so don't expect him to lay down for Nicky in Valencia....

3) Ducati dominated in Valencia and went very well in Malaysia

4) Dani and his team still think Dani can get Second in the championship...so Nicky comes second or worse for priorty of team at this pont in the season....sad but true....

Spies for the win.

Considering he's only testing on Monday this would be huge feat by the AMA champ!
