It was amazing that with 2 mins to go the front row was occupied completely by Aussies.. Bring on the race though, should be a goodun!

Bridgestone looking ALOT stronger than the Miche's...

The 'Shreddy' shod riders do not have the race pace of the Bridgestone riders...Dani qualifying lap was great, but it's a fluke.

And Westy and RDP are impressive this weekend...

Hopkins was 10th
Capirossi 11th
Barros 12th
Edwards 13th
Nakano 14th
Guintoli 15th
CHeca 16th
Davies 17th
Tamada 18th
Aoki 19th

Still might be a good idea to curb your enthusiasm until he finishes top 5 in a race, and/or is faster than his team-mate; I hope this occurs soon(?perhaps tomorrow).

I just figure, he's 5th in the world at the moment.. He's been around top 5 alll weekend and will likely finish higher than that in the race (whatever the conditions) he also lead the QP session outright, from early on until the last few mins ..

If you dont belong after that, I don't know when u do.. oh and he'll only get better after a full pre-season mind you

Sorry Goaty but you're beginning to sound like a broken record... every time the boy expresses an opinion about anything, you're on to him about "whingeing".

If other people start quoting other riders in the same manner that you are, this would be a very boring place to visit!

They nearly all whinge including dr rossifumi MD PhD, except hayden and vermeulen who don't seem to much.
 
Nice last lap steal from Pedroboy, the Kwackers are looking strong again. Wet race anyone?

wow so close at the top, well done to Dani, hope he can keep up the pace in the race but as usual i think the stoner/ducati/bs package will be too stong.

His race pace at best so far this weekend has been in the mid 2:03s...he has only gotten to 2:02:68 once and then 2:01:877 once...so though it was a great lap, it just one fluke lap...Qualifying mask poor race pace, and so will make Dani a moving chicane for the rest of the bridgestone field chasing Casey....

Dani rode 1 great lap, don't get me wrong, but it won't help tomorrow...and he even quote as much in the crash.net article.

Oops sorry, you completely mis-used the word fluke so i didn't really understand your point. I agree though, his race pace is not quite as good as his grid position suggests, hes still quick though.
 
stoner got traffic in his quali, with stoners starts anywhere inside the first 3 rows is as good as a pole for him

and looks like stoner has won the new BMW as hes been consistantly faster than rossi by over a second
